congratulations perhaps the most explanatory video on the net. The barista is a beautiful project born excellent as a hot/cold shaker but where the designer got lost in forgetting to add a different whisk project for optimal foam.
Very good demonstration. I was considering buying the barista. I have the Aeroccino 3 and 4. I just thought the Barista does something extra but I love the froth from my Aeroccino's. Thank you for the video even with the spillage.
from my short time making cappuccinos and lattes, i’ve found that using a a fresher milk or sometimes adding a little bit of ice has helped with the quality of froth being produced, however given that this is the second machine you’ve gotten it’s just not good
I am having the same problem with the Barista machine. It is very disappointing and after many tries I’ve come to the conclusion that it can only blend and heat milk, and it is not able to froth milk to any satisfaction. I’m returning my machine and going back to my trusty old Areoccino.
Try stopping the Barista machine when it starts to slow down (at 2:10 in the video) : it should be a little better, even if not as thick as the foam from Aeroccino ... making a good foam with Barista is way too complicated, but when you succeed the foam is much better than the one made with Aeroccino which is quite good but the foam is kind of fake even if it's thick (that's just my opinion though)
You push the wrong button for aero4 its latte button so that it’s more foamy. and it’s very poor for aero4 that the milk isn’t hot. It’s only 60degrees Celsius.

I have both machines and would say the aeroccino 4 is more foamy artificial tasting and the barista is hotter and definitely more creamy.
Finally some good content on RUclips
What kinda milk you use
I really would like to see the comparison between the result using the third bottom in aeroccino 4 and the barista one.

Thank you for this comparison,
I would like to take Nespresso Barista, but after this video I will take Aeroccino 4.

Awesome review!! I know I’m not buying the Barista!
Who doesn't love a good Fluffy milk!
