If you watch closely most of his videos his bass drum lifts up every time he hits it, even when it's the left foot. Amazing!
The way he accents those glitchy guitars with the share at 1:44. a small detail but it's such a nice touch
perfectly necessary ghost notes. Chris does a great job serving the music, while also blowing us all away with his robotic drum parts.

I saw these guys back in 2016 at Chelsea Grin’s Desolation of Eden tour show. I had never heard of them, but their performance blew me away. Chris was the best drummer that night BY FAR. After the show I got to meet up with him and we talked for a few minutes. He was very polite and humble.

I just adore the way he commands the drums. He makes the energy of the song better by seeing him actually perform it.
You can tell Chris pushes himself harder every day. Some of the parts in the song almost looked like a challenge for him. Fantastic work and I can't wait for preorders.

Dude goes into 'craving addict' mode and and it's clearly the key to exceptional drumming.
The comments about triggers and programming I do find amusing. Here, you obviously have a superb drummer who has put in the hours of his craft with clear sight of how hard and how soft he hits to accent certain notes. Not only is this displayed on the top half of the kit, but clearly the bass drum is taking a pounding with how hard Chris is pushing through his legs to get a clear recording and to be so clear whilst doing that, this is what separates him from a lot of drummers. What an amazing musician.
