They should accelerate faster its just that 465 drivers usually use higher throttle than 365 drivers. Everything minus the AC DC difference is the same between the metcam units
@@aesonindustries8325 I'm not sure tbh , I feel like in general 465 metro cams get up to speed decently even only on 2nd throttle . Some people say they actually are faster at accelerating than the 365 . But idk, I guess networkers in general are just fast over all
@@bb-3653 They should be the same since they both reach 100mph so the 365s gearing wouldnt I believe be changed. Most of the issues with 365 acceleration is down to the drivers having to start of slow acceleration wise as the 365s arent very well maintained and run very old motor packages from creation where as 465s have had mostly new motor packages installed aswell as the 465/0 and 1s new inverters ontop of that.
@@aesonindustries8325 nah , 465s are limited to 75mph, and that's the BREL/ABB 465s that have upgraded mechanism on the motors which include 465/1 & 0. The 465 metro cammels (/9 &/2) are what I'm talking about, they have their old motors, they too are very susceptible to wheel slide with full throttle and the drivers usually dont go full force straight away either , however as soon as they go to notch 3 and 4 they catch up pretty quick their max speed . I'll watch the video, and I'm not saying 365s dont go fast, I've seen it too their pretty impressive, I'm just saying from my own observation the 465s seem to be a noticeably faster at reaching speed .
@@amandafoster650 your very welcome and I am glad to help out. This station in particular is great because you get all the regular services from moorgate to stevenage and back operated by the class 717s and then usually you will get some empty trains come through and turn around to enter into bounds green and hornsey depot. Its definitely a place I highly recommend
Awesome Catch. Liked :)
Great video!
Wow!! Nice :)
Nice video
If only they accelerated as fast as their 465 (met cam) counterpart. Although these have a greater speed. Gotta love networkers though

I quite like these, they looked best in FCC and NSE, but they can't beat the 465 and 466!
0:45 that clap tho
Avenged Chompy that is from the 387
That’s not a clap. I think that’s the sound made from the rails.
@@MatthewK421 i know- i cant explain the sound
@@phheonnixx that sound is where the train is going over a piece of jointed track. If you notice the 365 made the same nose just at a slower speed
Super video :)
Fajny film 👍
How come you see so many? I thought Thames link were taking over!
0:15 Rail grinder been through recently? It makes the train sound like an early 80s EMU like the 319
