My ob/gyn recommended me the mirena because my periods las 1 to 3 months every time I have a period I have pcos. Do you think the mirena will help me with my periods cause I still haven't gotten the mirena.
Anyone have experience with failed Paraguard insertions? Or being told your cervix is not dilated or large enough to insert it since its a larger IUD? My provider tried to insert Paraguard twice (second time with 100 mcg misopristol) and they said I was not dilated enough and my cervix opening is too small since I've never given birth. Wondering if this is legit or if I should see another provider...?
Thank you so much this was so informative
I had the mirena for a few years and it caused me such horrible cystic acne. It was great to not have to worry about anything but the acne was awful.
Sorry to hear that! Hope it has cleared up
