Marching is actually my favourite distance closimg, i am a preassure fighter, and it just feel so safe getting into range too, also i love fainting and mind gaming, which the march allows plenty of
I use this all the time and this is the best video I’ve seen explains the Thai march. I like taking an angle first with outside foot work and jab to stick em to a wall.
@@cloudmaster182 it 100% has its uses, mostly if you can back your opponent up to a wide stance to retreating into a corner this is the preferred technique I used

Very nice. Almost as if you're walking through your opponent's offense. I like it.
Great video first one I've seen regarding marching down an opponent well done Greg Wootton!!!
I like this guy and his videos are absolutely on top
Just watched your fight with Greg Turner... You are one tough sun of a gun! 🥊
Yup, never seen this before and can already see how useful it will be. I’ll be trying it tonight at training. Thanks guys
How did it go? I’ll be using it tonight myself haha
@@SheepKing0 howd it go?
@@yourmom4398 I won, it’s not the smartest if your opponents can pick you off
@Moe exactly my thoughts, I can see a well timed teep or leg kick negating this
Still seems to have it's uses tho

Great job!! Love the technic
Good techniques
With the first technique, could they time their attack to hit you as soon as your foot lands?
Yes if you have a high fight iq or if you train for it
Any ideas on how to counter this for opponents that like to do this?
Question, Stuart. When marching forward toward your opponent, what would you do if they teep’d you? Thanks in advance 🙏
Roger Sudyk that’s why you bring the knees high, you can block the teep with a knee or part of your shin, or catch it yea
good shit
High knee drills
🙌🙌
💪💪💪
Wouldn’t work in my gym, as soon as you start marching in knees high you would get your standing leg sweep kicked.
Watch his fights. It works.
March right into my Spinning back kick
Kicks a lifted knee fucks up the tendon in his foot. Gets beat down rest of the round. Can't train for a week.
