Hi, I have a question, so I've been training mma for a year and since I started I'm afraid of getting hit during sparring, I try to fight it but there are no effects, sometimes it's better and sometimes it's worse but it bothers me during sparring and i can't spar normally, any advice? Edit: it got to the point that even in a headgear I'm afraid, I hide behind my guard and I don't enter into exchanges
just keep doing sparring it will geting better with the time try and open your eyes very wide while hiting pads and letting someone hit you softly with the pads

Get that dog in you. If you can’t spar you’ll never be able to fight.
