Episode 39: "Greening of the Whites," White Mountains, NH

Pay a visit to the White Mountains of New Hampshire in May, when the trails are less traveled and the landscape is greening up. This episode takes you on a hike to beautiful Arethusa Falls in the White Mountains National Forest, followed by a float tube fishing trip to a remote mountain pond that’s home to wild and native brook trout. Wrapping things up is a lesson on gathering and cooking wild fiddleheads and ramps in the river floodplains.
