So I wasn't able to find them in any of them in any of the locations provided. Even using the 'Go to Folder' option couldn't find the folder so I dug around and figured out that you have to start from the Macintosh HD volume and then go to Library and so on. Here is the full path: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/com.apple.idleassetsd/Customer
..........but what happened to "static" Desktop pictures/Wallpapers that in previous mac OS's were always located in HD/Library/Desktop picture? mac OS Sonoma is the MOST screwed up obfuscated operating systems that I have ever experienced in the 27+ years of being a mac user!
Hi, thanks for the video.. I have Sonoma ver. 14.1.2 and under the /com.Apple folder there is no idleassetsd/Customer listed anywhere. I did a search for the idleassestsd folder and found nothing.. any suggestions? be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! I had the wallpapers to shuffle often and I found one I really liked today and wanted to save it, but couldn't figure it out. Thanks to this video I was able to set the image as my wallpaper permanently.
