As an INFJ, I resonate with much of what this video says. However, I find decision-making agonisingly difficult and painful. I can think about a situation from so many angles, each with its own pros and cons, making it almost impossible to settle on one thing. I change my mind quite violently and frequently and it makes moving forward in life almost impossible at times!

So, these days I usually do a simple pros & cons on a clean sheet of paper. That made for example my last move to a new apartment easier to do. 1. I want to connect logical people and emotional people and make them understand each other 2. I spent the last few years on self-development, forgetting about empathy while living alone. My best friend is ISTP and trying to explain my intuitive actions is frustrating... 5. It is frustrating to draw or make music, too many inaccuracies, no concepts and patterns. Not for nothing, but INFJ learn differently, in my experience. If you enjoy music and want to create your own, id suggest reading about chord progressions in different styles of music. This is the underlying "pattern" to a song and I think that you'd find yourself intuitively learning music because as an INFJ, once the pattern becomes clear, you'll keep practicing over and over in your head so much, that it will actually translate in to a very quick learning curve. Everyone works differently, even similar people, so I hope this is insightful.

But nah, I can't start before I go through all the tutorials. Bottom line, I have a good eye, and when I do something myself, I get angry because I know what a good thing looks/feels like, but I have no experience. Tutorial hell...
Regarding 4, it's really hard to have people with lower Ni to really see past the here and now or beyond the clear and obvious. ISTPs can be great for us most of the time but trying to get them to see outside the box in the cases of our intuition heavy insights and visions can be insanely frustrating.
There was much generalization here, most of these are shared by at least 6 personalities and aren't limited to the INFJ. I'm a 71 y.o. INFJ and I possess these characteristics. 1. Since it often gets exhausting being an INFJ, I’ve learned to switch off the heart and activate the brain. This is a skill I’ve built up over a period of about 15-17 years and works splendidly. Upon taking the test in that mode, I’ve repeatedly come out as an INTP which makes sense - to me at least. You? The heart is heavy but the brain higher up.
I’m an INFJ female, and I could relate to all of these. I got the impression that this video could just have been about INFJs regardless of gender and it would have still been accurate. I was expecting this video to point out traits of INFJ males that would not be seen as frequently in INFJ females, so I was a little bit disappointed. I agree with you that this can apply to both males and females. I am a 67 year old INFJ male and unfortunately I have never met another INFJ male or female as we are all pretty rare individuals. If there truly are diiferences between INFJ males and females it would be interesting hear about them. So take everything he says about an INFJ male as being for both. Oh yeah, a long time ago, I used to care about people and be a close, understanding friend, but the people either took me for granted, took advantage of me or just didn't care and would never reciprocate. So I quit caring about people, years ago. I'm 100% the kind of INFJ you are talking about in the video, and for all of my life, I have been misunderstood and unappreciated, especially as a writer
I like the fact that we can easily attract, easily keep up, and maintain a long-lasting relationship with female ENTPs. They're my favorite tomboys that seems to be in high demand by other males but loves to put us under her wings and boosting our masculinity while emasculating (devil advocates) any male competition that thinks they can tame a foxy wild child woman. They treat us like they just won a winning jackpot lottery. Being the most extroverted of the introverts puts us potentially in their environment from time to time, and as extroverts, ENTP females usually makes the first connection with us in social settings. Something about our presences peaks their interests in us. If a male INFJ wants to earn tons of sigma points, I highly recommend dating at least one female ENTP in your lifetime.
Dwelling on a negative experience because of being highly intuitive, inability to fully articulate, but I can surely see it clearly in my mind, being empathetic and yet the person I'm trying to help cannot grasp the simple fix to his problem, very introspective and creative. It's too bad those around us don't understand who we really are. A few years ago I looked up what Jesus would have been. Most said he was probably INFJ. I believe he was. Scripture says about Jesus in Isaiah 53 "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem." Jesus loved others, but he was rejected and familiar with pain/sorrow. Sounds like INFJ to me.

Why would you want another personality that isn’t who you are? You need to build your mind and learn to cope. You as your fully evolved self is pretty powerful. Many things are out of our control…and that’s okay. We do what we can and we touch the lives we touch.
