The Israelites were never truly the chosen people, but rather a community blessed with many prophets and subjected to numerous tests, is a perspective rooted in various interpretations of religious texts, particularly the Holy Qur'an. According to this viewpoint, the blessings and divine guidance given to the Children of Israel were met with significant shortcomings and failures on their part, leading to their repeated punishments by Allah. The Holy Qur'an recounts several instances where the Israelites turned away from God's guidance. A poignant example is when Prophet Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, left his people to receive the commandments from Allah. During his absence, the Israelites were led astray by Samiri, who created a golden calf idol for them to worship. Despite the clear covenant they had with Prophet Musa to refrain from idolatry, they indulged in this sin, provoking the anger of Musa upon his return: "Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed. He said, 'O my people, did your Lord not promise you a good promise? Could you not wait? Did you want to incur the wrath from your Lord? Is this why you broke your agreement with me?'" (Al-Baqarah, 2:92). Prophet Haroon (Aaron), peace be upon him, was left to manage the community in Musa's absence. When confronted by Musa, Haroon defended his actions, explaining that he feared a violent division among the people if he opposed them too forcefully: "Son of my mother, indeed the people overpowered me and were about to kill me. So do not let the enemies rejoice over me and do not place me among the wrongdoing people." (Al-A'raf, 7:150). This incident highlights the Israelites' recurrent disobedience and the resulting divine punishment, which included wandering the desert for forty years before being allowed to enter the promised land. The Holy Qur'an also addresses the broader implications of the Israelites' behavior and why they were subjected to various forms of divine punishment. Despite being recipients of divine blessings and guidance, their repeated transgressions and spread of corruption warranted severe repercussions: "And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture that you will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness." (Al-Isra, 17:4). This historical narrative is often linked to modern interpretations and geopolitical contexts, particularly concerning the state of Israel and its actions. From an Islamic perspective, the continual misconduct and corruption are seen as reasons why they cannot be considered rightful custodians of sacred sites such as Bayt Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). The coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions is viewed as a divine response to rectify the misdeeds and restore justice something that the Children of Israel have failed to establish in the Holy land even to the present day they spread mischief such as promoting homosexual rights yet they are unjust with the killing of innocent children in Palestine this spread of haughty mischief and corruption in the land is why they are not the chosen people to be the custodian of Jerusalem after Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) revealed Islam as the final Message and the best of God's servants are the Muslim Ummah so they chosen custodian of Jerusalem

The Quran does indeed say Allah chose the Israelites over all the people in the earth. (Quran 45:16) But this chosen-ness did come with conditions in that they were to fulfil their promise to Allah, to believe what's revealed to them and to support the Prophets. When they broke their covenant with God and killed the Prophets, they were no longer special and punishment was meted on them.
@@saidhashi2856 >>>>The Quran does indeed say Allah chose the Israelites over all the people in the earth. ============================== For what reason/s ??? Perhaps it has something to do with Prophet Ibrahim's wishes to all his generations. Perhaps, they were chosen among all the people in their era. Bear in mind that Quran also states that God sent prophets to every nations so as to guide the people. This also means God chose the people to be guided.
4. And We declared for the Children of Israel in the Scripture: You will commit corruption on earth twice, and you will rise to a great height. 5. When the first of the two promises came true, We sent against you servants of Ours, possessing great might, and they ransacked your homes. It was a promise fulfilled.
As per classical understanding, both events have transpired. Remember, the actual children of Israel, as referenced in the Quranic discourse, barely or no longer exist. They were also a semitic people. Anyway, these verses then imply the extent of chaos that the jews are capable of when malicious or hateful or supremacist mindsets take over. The entire world is witness to this as per current events. There are good people among the jews, but they are being silenced or persecuted.
Please you should understand Quran, it's mentioned about ancient Israeli Hebrews , there is big difference between converted European jews and ancient Israeli Hebrews ,Allah also worned us about the Devil group, you should study the history about the khazars the people who followed shamanism evil religion before converting to judism ,even DNA test proved that those modern c0nverted jews are NOT semetic they are from khazars decent
You also need to clarify that Allah does not choose people based on their races or any biological factors. He created them all and loves them all. He chose the Jews initially to carry His message to others. He tells them countless times in the Torah that He would keep His covenant with them for as long they kept His covenant. That is the sole purpose for choosing them from among humans at that time. Now, when have the Jews kept His covenant? For how long? They only did this for short periods of time, and the longest part of their history is filled with corruption and sinfulness…. This is why in Isiah 42 Allah tells them that he is abandoning the past and beginning a new covenant with a new people and that the people of Selah سلع) which is Madina will rejoice and climb up the mountain tops and shout the praise of Allah. Allah fulfilled His promise and gave them rule over the land from Iraq to Palestine to Yemen to Egypt (during the reign of Solomon). And that era was closed, because since then Allah has cursed the Jews. Cursing means dismissal from His mercy.

14:00 The Jews were chosen, but in a very limited way thats hardly anything to brag about. The Israelites were chosen to RECEIVE THE TORAH, which they did a piss poor job of. Its not being chosen as universally superior or even at all superior to another people, though those Jews who are the racist Jews have made many enemies by claiming that.
"Sons of vipers", "Your father, the Devil", "Sons of dogs", & Jesus' insults to the treacherous, evil-minded, occult, dark-hearted rabbis never ended. They were persistently "trapping" him...until He chose to enter into Jerusalem, "to fulfill what was written by the Prophets.
we must be aware that the verb qatela of the Koran has not a 100% Lethal effect. In arabic there is another verb qaTala with a different letter for the sound T which has a 100% destruction meaning. The hebrew Bible uses the verb Qatela in a very limited way and it uses other verbs for to Kill. The Commandment do not kill does not use the verb qatela
8:38 The teaching of Jesus was and is clear, and that is to devote yourself to the embodiment of Loving Reason (Logos - YHVH). The need for Reason is also shown in his killing and in war and in the killing of anyone or any prophet. If and when I am killed, or die because my body is not logical enough to continue in other parts of spacetimes than the ones it forever exists in, then it will show the need for Reason/Logicality (God) also. Let that be my legacy as it is Jesus's and Muhammad's, or Moses's and Aristotle's.

A healthy tree can not bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit."
Roman pagan paul hijacked the monotheist jewish prophet Jesus's name to create a trinintarian false polythiestic religion called christianity. It has absolutely nothing to do with the divinely revealed pure monotheist religions of ancient prophets including Abraham, Moses, Jesus etc.....
The Qur’an asserts the claim that Children of Israel killed their own prophets in seven different Qur’anic verses (Q: 2:61, 2:87, 2:91, 3:112, 3:183, 4:155, 5:70) and we find many references in the Old and New Testament to confirm the truth of the Quran. 1 Kings 19:10: [Elijah] replied [to King Ahab of Israel], “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” 2 Chronicles 24:122: . But they plotted against him, and by order of the king, they stoned him to death in the courtyard of the Lord’s temple. King Joash did not remember the kindness Zechariah’s father Jehoiada had shown him but killed his son, who said as he lay dying, “May the Lord see this and call you to account.”- Nehemiah 9:26: . “But [our ancestors] were disobedient and rebelled against you; they turned their backs on your law. They killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you; they committed awful blasphemies. 1 Kings 18:4: for when Jezebel destroyed the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave, ] Romans 11:3: “Lord, they have killed Your prophets, they have torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.” Matthew 23:29-39: - “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started! “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation. “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’ Is Qur’an View Of Jews Killing God’s Prophets False? For more than one thousand years following the covenant made with God at Mount Sinai, the Jewish People were blessed with dozens of God inspired prophets. But yes because on more than one occasion Jewish rulers ordered their agents to get rid of their Prophet critics. The Qur’an states: When it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah has revealed,” they say, “We believe [only] in what was revealed to us.” And they disbelieve in what came after it (the New Testament and the Qur’an) while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, “Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?” (2:91) “Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah, and kill the prophets without right, and kill those who order justice from among the people; giving them tidings of a painful punishment. (3:21) “They have been put under humiliation [by Allah] wherever they are overtaken, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the Muslims. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. (3:112) “Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, “Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich.” We will record what they said; and their killing of the prophets without right, and will say, “Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire. (3:181) “And for their breaking of the covenant, and their disbelief in the signs of Allah, and their killing of the prophets without right, and their saying, “Our hearts are wrapped (and sealed)”. Rather, Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few. (4:159) And We did certainly give Moses the Torah; and followed up after him with (with 55 male and female prophets as) messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of prophets) you denied and another party you killed. (2:87) We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed. (5:70) [They are] those who said, “Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume.” Say, “There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?” (3:183) www.eurasiareview.com/04052024-is-quran-view-of-jews-killing-gods-prophets-false-oped/
This is what Jesus said concerning the Temple Mount Woe, therefore, to this faithless generation, for upon them shall come the blood of every prophet and righteous man, with the blood of Zechariah son of Berachiah, whom they slew between the temple and the altar! 'What prophet have they not persecuted? What righteous man have they suffered to die a natural death? Scarcely one! And they seek now to slay me. They boast themselves to be children of Abraham, and to possess the beautiful temple. As God liveth, they are children of Satan, and therefore they do his will: therefore the temple, with the holy city, shall go to ruin, in so much that there shall not remain of the temple one stone upon another.'
@@johnbrzykcy3076 Hey John, its Mohamed, I offered you the source before but you said that you don't want to know and that you're satisfy whit your beliefs because of your age. My brother in humanity you have been watching Paul for almost 4 years and I hope you have changed your mind on your beliefs concerning Islam. I pray that you accept Islam. Coming back to this gospel it has 11000 more words than the 4 gospels combined , it was hidden in the Vatican for almost 12 centuries , the original is still in the language of Jesus , Aramic . Read what Jesus said concerning God Accordingly the governor and the priest and the king prayed Jesus that in order to quiet the people he should mount up into a lofty place and speak to the people. Then went up Jesus on to one of the twelve stones which Joshua made the twelve tribes take up from the midst of Jordan, when all Israel passed over there dry shod; and he said with a loud voice: 'Let our priest go up into a high place whence he may confirm my words.' Thereupon the priest went up thither; to whom Jesus said distinctly, so that every one might hear: 'It is written in the testament and covenant of the living God that our God hath no beginning, neither shall he ever have an end.' The priest answered: 'Even so is it written therein.' Jesus said: 'It is written there that our God by his word alone hath created all things.' 'Even so it is,' said the priest. Jesus said: 'It is written there that God is invisible and hidden from the mind of man, seeing he is incorporeal and uncomposed, without variableness.' 'So it is, truly,' said the priest. Jesus said: 'It is written there how that the heaven of heavens cannot contain him, seeing that our God is infinite.' So said Solomon the prophet,' said the priest. 'O Jesus.' Said Jesus: 'It is written there that God hath no need, forasmuch as he eateth not, sleepeth not, and suffereth not from any deficiency.' 'So is it,' said the priest. Said Jesus: 'It is written there that our God is everywhere, and that there is not any other god but he, who striketh down and maketh whole, and doeth all that pleaseth him.' 'So is it written.' replied the priest. Then Jesus, having lifted up his hands, said: 'Lord our God, this is my faith wherewith I shall come to thy judgement: in testimony against every one that shall believe the contrary. And turning himself towards the people, he said: 'Repent, for from all that of which the priest hath said that it is written in the book of Moses, the covenant of God for ever, ye may perceive your sin; for that I am a visible man and a morsel of clay that walketh upon the earth, mortal as are other men. And I have had a beginning, and shall have an end, and [am] such that I cannot create a fly over again.' Thereupon the people raised their voices weeping, and said: 'We have sinned, Lord our God, against thee; have mercy upon us.' And they prayed Jesus, every one, that he would pray for the safety of the holy city, that our God in his anger should not give it over to be trodden down of the nations. Thereupon Jesus, having lifted up his hands, prayed for the holy city and for the people of God, every one crying: 'So be it.' 'Amen.'

'Certain it is that God will not do this, seeing he is unchangeable, and therefore that which God ordained as man's way of salvation, this hath he caused all the prophets to say. As God liveth, in whose presence my soul standeth, if the book of Moses with the book of our father David had not been corrupted by the human traditions of false Pharisees and doctors, God would not have given his word to me. Every prophecy have they corrupted, in so much that do-day a thing is not sought because God hath commanded it, but men look whether the doctors say it, and the Pharisees observe it, as though God were in error, and men could not err. @@GrowWithInfo-1028Thanks so much for your time and effort. I didn't know that Prophet Muhammad wrote so much about Jesus. Where did Muhammad get all that information? However I have learned quite a bit about Islam from Blogging Theology. My next step is to read a good English translation of the Quran. @@johnbrzykcy3076 John, I have no doubt that you are a very decent guy, over the years I read some of your comments and I see you are always person willing to learn, The writing I sent to you is not from Muhammad but from Jesus , peace be upon them both. I would definitely encourage you to visit a mosque and read the Quran , if you accept Islam you will bring Jesus with you , we love Jesus especially me because I read some of the most beautiful saying, let's keep in touch and please ask me any questions concerning Jesus or Muhammad and the Quran , usually we as Muslims never give answers based upon opinions and if we do we will be the first to say it's an opinion . This is a chapter where Jesus is talking about circumcision, I will send another on the origin of it. The disciples questioned Jesus on that day, saying: 'O master, why didst thou make such answer to the woman, saying that they were dogs?' Jesus answered: 'Verily I say unto you that a dog is better than an uncircumcised man.' Then were the disciples sorrowful, saying: 'Hard are these words, and who shall be able to receive them?' Jesus answered: 'If ye consider, O foolish ones, what the dog doth, that hath no reason, for the service of his master, ye will find my saying to be true. Tell me, doth the dog guard the house of his master, and expose his life against the robber? Yea, assuredly. But what receiveth he? Many blows and injuries with little bread, and he always showeth to his master a joyful countenance. Is this true?' 'True it is, O master,' answered the disciples. Then said Jesus: 'Consider now how much God hath given to man, and ye shall see how unrighteous he is in not observing the covenant of God made with Abraham his servant. Remember that which David said to Saul king of Israel, against Goliath the Philistine: "My lord," said David, "while thy servant was keeping thy servant's flock there came the wolf, the bear, and the lion and seized thy servant's sheep: whereupon thy servant went and slew them, rescuing the sheep. And what is this uncircumcised one but like unto them? Therefore will thy servant go in the name of the Lord God of Israel, and will slay this unclean one that blasphemeth the holy people of God." Then said the disciples: 'Tell us, O master, for what reason man must needs be circumcised?" Jesus answered: 'Let it suffice you that God hath commanded it to Abraham, saying: "Abraham, circumcise thy foreskin and that of all thy house, for this is a covenant between me and thee for ever

Jesus prophesied the destruction of the Temple and the end of animal sacrifice. Jesus was the ‘sacrificial lamb’ that took on the sins of the world by dying on the cross and rising again after 3 days. To this day there has been no Temple or animal sacrifice, just as Jesus prophesied. The Eucharist replaced animal sacrifice.
@@nutzhazel "Suicide" is the opposite of what Jesus accomplished. Suicide implies an individual needs help and/or finds life as meaningless. Jesus' crucifixion on a cross is at the opposite end of the spectrum. Jesus' death represents God's desire to HELP US. Jesus was sent by God the Father to show us the ultimate meaning/purpose to life. This points to the Creator's love and mercy. Although Jesus' crucifixion is a mystery to our limited understanding, it points to a divine love and compassion. I don't see Jesus' death as "suicidal" but the ultimate example of meaning/purpose to our earthly life. Jesus' obedience to the One God enables us to accept God's mercy and forgiveness. Jesus was triumphant. Jesus glorified God. By the way, I'm no scholar. Just a simple Christian believer who needs God's help and mercy. Peace of God to you and your family.

Correct, once Jesus surrendered His last breath, there was an earthquake, & darkness fell on the earth, the heavy curtain separating the Holy of Holies Chamber in the 2nd Temple was ripped from top to bottom, revealing God to the Gentiles, thus breaking His Covenant with the Hebrews! God rejected their worship through the destruction of their 2nd Temple. Jesus used St.Paul to spread God's Message of Salvation to the Gentiles ("to the ends of the earth").

According to Orthodox Jews (Neturei Karta for ex.), God exiled them from the Holy Land, only to be gathered in the Holy Land when the Messiah comes, and they do not recognize the state of Israel.
What is their evidence for this?
Yeah.... thats kinda what we believe as muslims, except that Yeshua peace upon him being the messiah which was literally their prophet and last chance to come back to the way..... and i may think personally that it was a mercy from Allah the fact that he was saved, as his names implies ”Yeshua” (God saves), so even if they refused the messiah, he will be brought back in the end of times so that some of them who wont follow the antichrist, will eventually follow Yeshua, and well all be in the same team, even if technically islamic elschatology suggest that a great majority of jews will follow the antichrist instead, yet a great majority of christians will follow Yeshua

Despite the clear covenant they had with Prophet Musa to refrain from idolatry, they indulged in this sin, provoking the anger of Musa upon his return:
"Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed.
When confronted by Musa, Haroon defended his actions, explaining that he feared a violent division among the people if he opposed them too forcefully:
"Son of my mother, indeed the people overpowered me and were about to kill me.
Despite being recipients of divine blessings and guidance, their repeated transgressions and spread of corruption warranted severe repercussions:
"And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture that you will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness." (Al-Isra, 17:4).

==============================
For what reason/s ???
Perhaps it has something to do with Prophet Ibrahim's wishes to all his generations.
Perhaps, they were chosen among all the people in their era.
Bear in mind that Quran also states that God sent prophets to every nations so as to guide the people.
This also means God chose the people to be guided.

Quran 17: 4-5
Very interesting.
Killing of a messenger from another kingdom can lead to war, and they were killing the messengers of God.

1:54 good example of what a bad translation looks like. Instead of translating literally 'Some they beliared, and some they killed" they added an extra 'they accused of', 'another'. I'm aware there is no word that means accuse someone of lying, but belied means lying and therefore a new word ought to be introduced into the English language to makeup inpart for its lack of elocution. The word Fariq is used here, which is translated as a grpup, but Fariq comes from the root F-R-Q which means set apart, the most close translaiton would be set, as in a mathematical set, that is a group that is distinguished from the other by the action in this case it had inflicted upon it.
The verse of al-Ma'ida 5:48 also mean the Quran dominate what ever revealed before , either if it is preserved or not, the final revelation from God his final judgment the Quran has the total authority.

Matthew 7:15-18
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? So every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.
1 Kings 19:10:
[Elijah] replied [to King Ahab of Israel], “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”
2 Chronicles 24:122:

Romans 11:3:
“Lord, they have killed Your prophets, they have torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.”
Matthew 23:29-39:
- “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’
Is Qur’an View Of Jews Killing God’s Prophets False?
For more than one thousand years following the covenant made with God at Mount Sinai, the Jewish People were blessed with dozens of God inspired prophets. But yes because on more than one occasion Jewish rulers ordered their agents to get rid of their Prophet critics.
The Qur’an states:
When it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah has revealed,” they say, “We believe [only] in what was revealed to us.” And they disbelieve in what came after it (the New Testament and the Qur’an) while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, “Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?” (2:91)
“Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah, and kill the prophets without right, and kill those who order justice from among the people; giving them tidings of a painful punishment. (3:21)
“They have been put under humiliation [by Allah] wherever they are overtaken, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the Muslims. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. (3:112)
“Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, “Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich.” We will record what they said; and their killing of the prophets without right, and will say, “Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire. (3:181)
“And for their breaking of the covenant, and their disbelief in the signs of Allah, and their killing of the prophets without right, and their saying, “Our hearts are wrapped (and sealed)”. Rather, Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few. (4:159)
And We did certainly give Moses the Torah; and followed up after him with (with 55 male and female prophets as) messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of prophets) you denied and another party you killed. (2:87)
We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed. (5:70)
[They are] those who said, “Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume.” Say, “There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?” (3:183)

This is what Jesus said concerning the Temple Mount
Woe, therefore, to this faithless generation, for upon them shall come the blood of every prophet and righteous man, with the blood of Zechariah son of Berachiah, whom they slew between the temple and the altar!

Read what Jesus said concerning God
Accordingly the governor and the priest and the king prayed Jesus that in order to quiet the people he should mount up into a lofty place and speak to the people. Then went up Jesus on to one of the twelve stones which Joshua made the twelve tribes take up from the midst of Jordan, when all Israel passed over there dry shod; and he said with a loud voice: 'Let our priest go up into a high place whence he may confirm my words.' Thereupon the priest went up thither; to whom Jesus said distinctly, so that every one might hear: 'It is written in the testament and covenant of the living God that our God hath no beginning, neither shall he ever have an end.'
The priest answered: 'Even so is it written therein.'
Jesus said: 'It is written there that our God by his word alone hath created all things.'
'Even so it is,' said the priest.
Jesus said: 'It is written there that God is invisible and hidden from the mind of man, seeing he is incorporeal and uncomposed, without variableness.'
'So it is, truly,' said the priest.
Jesus said: 'It is written there how that the heaven of heavens cannot contain him, seeing that our God is infinite.'
So said Solomon the prophet,' said the priest. 'O Jesus.'
Said Jesus: 'It is written there that God hath no need, forasmuch as he eateth not, sleepeth not, and suffereth not from any deficiency.'
'So is it,' said the priest.
Said Jesus: 'It is written there that our God is everywhere, and that there is not any other god but he, who striketh down and maketh whole, and doeth all that pleaseth him.'
'So is it written.' replied the priest.
And I have had a beginning, and shall have an end, and [am] such that I cannot create a fly over again.'
Thereupon the people raised their voices weeping, and said: 'We have sinned, Lord our God, against thee; have mercy upon us.' And they prayed Jesus, every one, that he would pray for the safety of the holy city, that our God in his anger should not give it over to be trodden down of the nations. Thereupon Jesus, having lifted up his hands, prayed for the holy city and for the people of God, every one crying: 'So be it.' 'Amen.'
@@johnbrzykcy3076 John , this is the whole chapter
Then said Jesus: 'This is true, because I am assured thereof by God. Wherefore, that every one may know that this is the truth, in the name of God let the sun stand still, and not move for twelve hours!' And so it came to pass, to the great terror of all Jerusalem and Judaea.
And Jesus said to the scribe: 'O brother, what seekest thou to learn from me, seeing thou hast such knowledge? As God liveth, this is sufficient for man's salvation, inasmuch as the humility of Haggai, with the charity of Hosea, fulfilleth all the law and all the prophets.
'Tell me, brother, when thou camest to question me in the temple, didst thou think, perchance, that God had sent me to destroy the law and the prophets?
'Certain it is that God will not do this, seeing he is unchangeable, and therefore that which God ordained as man's way of salvation, this hath he caused all the prophets to say. As God liveth, in whose presence my soul standeth, if the book of Moses with the book of our father David had not been corrupted by the human traditions of false Pharisees and doctors, God would not have given his word to me. And why speak I of the book of Moses and the book of David? Every prophecy have they corrupted, in so much that do-day a thing is not sought because God hath commanded it, but men look whether the doctors say it, and the Pharisees observe it, as though God were in error, and men could not err.

I'm a slow learner and, to be honest, I don't feel very motivated to study Islam. But I also have a problem with procrastination.
.... However I have learned quite a bit about Islam from Blogging Theology. My next step is to read a good English translation of the Quran. Then possibly visit a mosque here in Florida.
..To be honest, I prefer the narrative style of writing, such as the Gospels of the New Testament.
Again, I appreciate your honesty. Whatever I do regarding my faith, I certainly need to stop "sitting on the fence".
Keep in touch. Peace

The disciples questioned Jesus on that day, saying: 'O master, why didst thou make such answer to the woman, saying that they were dogs?'
Jesus answered: 'Verily I say unto you that a dog is better than an uncircumcised man.' Then were the disciples sorrowful, saying: 'Hard are these words, and who shall be able to receive them?'
Jesus answered: 'If ye consider, O foolish ones, what the dog doth, that hath no reason, for the service of his master, ye will find my saying to be true. Tell me, doth the dog guard the house of his master, and expose his life against the robber? Yea, assuredly. But what receiveth he? Many blows and injuries with little bread, and he always showeth to his master a joyful countenance. Is this true?'
'True it is, O master,' answered the disciples.
Therefore will thy servant go in the name of the Lord God of Israel, and will slay this unclean one that blasphemeth the holy people of God."
Then said the disciples: 'Tell us, O master, for what reason man must needs be circumcised?"
Jesus answered: 'Let it suffice you that God hath commanded it to Abraham, saying: "Abraham, circumcise thy foreskin and that of all thy house, for this is a covenant between me and thee for ever

So your almighty god is a suicidal lamb? Gimme a break

In Mystery Babylon empire of iron & clay they murder their prophets UNTO THIS DAY !!!!
