I think he wanted to keep the theme very Loki-centric as it is a promotional interview for the Loki show. We all know how dearly he holds Shakespeare in his heart, as well as being such a phenomenal performer of the bard’s work. Shakespeare has been a vein through his whole career and I cannot wait for when he next does a Shakespeare play as I really want to see that; the Coriolanus national live show was intense and that was on screen.
