I couldn't agree more. Tom truly understands and appreciates the character. It could be argued that his personal devotion to understanding the character is what makes him the best actor to portray Loki.

I think he wanted to keep the theme very Loki-centric as it is a promotional interview for the Loki show. We all know how dearly he holds Shakespeare in his heart, as well as being such a phenomenal performer of the bard’s work. Shakespeare has been a vein through his whole career and I cannot wait for when he next does a Shakespeare play as I really want to see that; the Coriolanus national live show was intense and that was on screen.
