I can see why people would keep cards that were sent by very well known celebrities and bands, singers ect. But you would be very lucky indeed if you came across one of those cards. Normally people would get cards these days and throw them in the recycle bins. I'm one of those that just hate Christmas cards, my idea is to leave the trees where they are and phone or speak Merry Christmas to anyone you normally send cards to. I can see where the value comes from with vintage cards 100%, but this isn't my thing to do, but we all collect different things in the world don't we. Some really beautiful cards on here. Thank you so much, Don. Charles in the UK

Depends. Age, rarity, condition. Start looking them up might have some gems!

Don my friend showed me his past aways dads family stamp collection. it's quite a collection and most are in books. 3 generations of collecting. If you or someone could show and prove the value, I'm sure he would sell them. I don't want to see him getting taken advantage of that's why I am telling you.

I collect christmas cards sent out by Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) and John Waters. I also have one from serial killer John Wayne Gacy, sent before he was caught.

I bought a box of papers and another of postage stamps at a hoarder's (very neat hoarders) estate sale in June. There are a couple of really pretty Japanese Christmas cards in there. I need to do some further research on them, and all the other papers, along with the over 5000 postage stamps from that sale and another. Paper is fascinating, but I haven't taken the time to investigate it as much as I'd like. Your videos are some of the best I've seen, and I appreciate your willingness to pass on your expertise. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Thank you so much! Do you recommend keeping unsold Christmas card and Halloween cards on the list after holidays? I mean for smaller sellers since we have to pay 35 cent for every relisting. Thank you.

Are these typically sold on auction? Where do you suggest one would go to research and identify the value? I have some very old Valentine cards.

I have a JFK family Christmas card from 1958 with an auto pen signature. Are these somewhat rare, or were they mass produced?

Hi Don, Thanks for the great video. Hope you & your family are well. I have a question, I was digging thru some vintage ads & memorabilia, & icame across a stack of papers with a collage of wallet size photos of men & women, some of them are ones I recognize from the big screen. I would love to share them with you for your opinion. I'm not a scammer, just one of many others that follow your journey of knowledge. Appreciate you greatly

I have one card sent out by an actor back in the 50's or before. I bought a bunch of embossed "antique" XMAS and New Years post cards 25c each at the stamp show. The Etsy ladies selling next door would have beat me up if they knew about them. Do I have to worry about fake celeb cards????

WE appreciate the work you’ve put into this (and all your video’s) Don..
AND recognize you sacrifice sales income when you could making MORE money SELLING, than producing You Tube vids. 👍
Please know that you (and your family’s) sacrifice is not in vain.
