If it is to be something to replace my D500, then I would want weatherproofing and a few more megapix (26-36MP?), expeed 7, and either a larger body than the Z50 and/or a detachable extra battery pack/grip with vertical controls. That helps to counteract the weight when using long lenses. A fast refresh, hi res EVF would also be nice.
Hi Paul, as explained in this livestream, more stops of dynamic range. Current cameras go up to 15 stops max. For example z7ii goes up to 14.7 evs. I want this to improve. For example Alexa 35 (cinema camera) measures 17 stops of exposure latitude. Higher dynamic range means more data captured in highlights and shadows, which helps in the post processing. Hope this explains my point.
Those new Voigtländer Mark II APO lenses appear to have thicker barrels all the way back to the lens mount, which suggests something has changed, at least in the mechanical design. My hope is it means they've added some weather sealing.
Z50ii would be nice in a Z6iii Body.. Expeed 7 with a faster 20.9Mp sensor. Many DX bodies shared the same battery with the FX camera. IT should have IBIS it should out Spec Crop Canon cameras. Nikon can then just take the guts and update all the other Z DX cameras.

Thanks for another interesting chat - even if it is "second hand" on catch-up again!
Z7iii should be the second camera or maybe a 60 MP ZF to take its place!
Thanks Kon :) :) :)

Kon, you have said many times that you want more dynamic range. Would you, please define what more dynamic range means to you.

Film camera reissue? An FM3A in an F3 body would be perfect (for me!)
