Criticism is valid, I’ve tried getting into him but his inauthenticity rubs me the wrong way. He’s just riding wave after wave. And his tweet where he says he wants a cult fanbase, that has to happen organically instead of just demanding it and gaming the tiktok algorithm.

And as for the inauthenticity, idk man I can get it to some degree but I think it's quite normal for someone to try out shit until they find what's best suited for them or what they do the best at which seems to me is what he did. He just made whatever until he found niche and that's normal

People are stupid or just ignorant because they aren't musicians themselves so they will never experience an artist's journey. Is he wrong for tryna find a lane. he obviously showing a work ethic that most artist lack. He still has a distinct sound now. He has way more substance and creativity with his lyrics than lonely. He's kinda has an ability to tell a story with his music where destroy lonely kinda just doesn't say much in his verses. I feel like the more experience he getting experimenting the more he's able to create his sound.

Dom is a destroy lonely clone, he was making songs (that sounded nothing like his current ones) and then out of nowhere on god drops which is just a lonely copy song he literaly puts asian girls on the cover which is some destroylonely shit and then penthouse shordy drops and does well so he runs with the sound to make money not cause its his own art. He continues to steal lonely flows and style becuase it gave him fame.
