I HAVE to give it to Zuko. The thing is, he didn't need multiple burns on Todoroki when he had so many lines on how great his life had become because of the journey he embarked on. His story was much more well put together than Todoroki's, in my opinion. All of Todoroki's development was with his family, whereas Zuko's development was within himself, and I think that's what truly made the difference.
just because Zuko's character arc is so much better than Todoroki's doesn't mean that has a impact on the battle... Zuko won because he had harder punches Todoroki lost because he had so many fillers and false lines, and his hardest punches weren't necessarily disses towards Zuko, but rather a dig at the fans, which makes it stand out more. it's cheap and dirty, but it's not a particularly good diss against Zuko to say "Little Soldier Boy isn't marching home" and Zuko being a better character is just an objective fact.
@@Strictly_Super yeah boi, Luffys dub is terrible I can only watch it subbed. I'm on episode 160 something but I am currently catching up on all of the seasonal anime I missed before endearing into one price again
What he meant by this little Soulja Boy was from the avatar The Last Airbender and where iroh was singing that song where he said thos littel souIja boy will come marching home didnt now if you know or not
Dub or sub isn't relevant to me, but I prefer dub for this reason. I can't be reading every little word someone says while I'm trying to figure out why I'm being sent for someone's head so with dub I can catch both
The line about Zuko's dad spilling the Tea is a reference to Zuko being disowned. Tea is a slang, a new (ish) term for gossip. Basically meaning how the whole fire nation rejected Zuko like his dad after they're Agni Kai. And if NLJ is reading then yes the line is Brit Bias.
Pretty much wanted so say tea but have more meanings that one. Sad that if you don't get it the whole bar doesn't spit half the fire it was meant to. And yes I replied to my own comment, what gives?
Why are you sorry? The dub of My Hero is better than the sub. At least, that's the opinion that I hold. I just think the english translates much better than the subbed Japanese version. Look, Japanese is a really, really awkward language to translate into english. Their sentences are more basic and blatant because it is hard to be more dynamic and sarcastic with Japanese. You have to be precise, but another downside is that some words have completely different meanings, and some phrases can be taken very out of context. Remember when people thought Mineta was bisexual because of a oddly translated line he said to Deku? Yeah, it's really easy to misinterpret Japanese, and a lot of the humor and references don't translate to our culture. Some anime even have to add subtitles explaining some jokes, which is cool, but it would have hit more if I understood it in the first place. Also, the english VAs had so much fun with the voices, I could tell by their performances. Bakugo made me laugh so much in season 5 throughout. And I'm certain he'll make me cry a lot in season 6. Also, are you kidding!? The keddle joke was very weak compared to Zuko's dad scarring him and calling HIM the accident. Zuko was just a whiny b*tch throughout Avater. I could never like his character because he was either a brat, trying desperately to connect with his bland girlfriend who I wanted to slap every time she tried to sound cool or betraying his Uncle's love and trust. Also, the Soldier boy segment wasn't a Soulja Boy reference, man. That line hit hard because that's the song Iroh sang when in remembrance of his dead song, "Brave Little Soldier Boy Comes Marching Home". Also, it might have even been a bit cruel since that was the last thing sung before the original VA for Iroh died.
Honestly, Zuko was gonna beat Azula until she took a shot at Katara to throw him off
This guy's reaction to everything: "Hmm. Okay."

Sokka:my first girlfriend turned into the moon
Zuko:THAT'S ROUGH BUDDY

Yes Zuko did beat admiral Zhao (I think that’s his name), and Iroh called the admiral less honorable than Zuko
The moon slayer
