Milo is very special! Savor every moment with him. I had a boy like this, who I took in off the streets. He had no cuddle limit. He was like that with everyone. He never met a strangers, and converted many of my friends into loving cats. He passed in 2019 at 17. I still cry for him.
I'm sorry to read about the loss of your beloved feline friend - they leave an indelible paw-print on our heart, mind and soul.
My childhood street adoption was Mama Cat, who passed away at 19 in 1998. (She was abandoned in the woods by our house with 5 kittens. We ended up adopting her and one of her daughters --Meowza, who lived 15 years). All of our cats are precious, but some of them are just special. Mama Cat was my confidant during the teenage years. When I move
d out at 19, she would come sleep over at my apt sometimes, and I'd take her to college classes or to the mall. She was a people pleaser, and an attention hog, but she was one of the special ones. They have a special place in our hearts forever.

17 years is a good long life for a cat. You must have been a wonderful "parent". I had one that made it to 17 as well, sad when you have to let go.

@@xPaPaDx Well yeah but he doesn't let her have a shower in peace. He needs to learn boundaries😅 but in his defense I know why he does that and cats in general. Because cats hate water they think we are being tortured in the shower by letting water fall on us.

I've never seen a cat this infatuated with its person before! Having cats myself, I know they can be very affectionate & clingy when they want to be, but there's usually like a cut off time. Milo is really well-loved 🤍

I had a cat that behaved just like that: Uncanny. We named him that because after years of begging my husband to let me get one, this little guy showed up outside the sliding doors THAT DAY of his home office. He was the Best!

I used to wish my cat had let me sleep until 7 AM. When she was around, I'd hear her making noises around 4 AM, and making noises around the room. (She'd start with gentle head-butts and cute meows, then eventually move on to scratching on various things around my room to make noise.) I had to put her down back in March, but I miss her early morning wake up calls.

I love this sweet baby! Cats are so amazingly affectionate. While our lives are so complex, and over-scheduled, our pets are there to remind us what life is all about through cuddles and sand-paper kisses. Milo is a sweetheart and so adorable. Many people often have the perception that kitties are not affectionate or are too aloof. This perception is patently incorrect. Like Milo with his human and the love he has for her,all of my kitties have shown me their love and affection together with their friendship.

He was my best buddy for 16 1/2 years before his kidneys gave out and I had to give him his Angel's wings. He's been gone 6 years now and I still miss him terribly despite welcoming new cats into the home. RIP Thomas... Until we meet again.❤❤

I lost my cat Mariko this year. She was thirty years old! It's been so hard to move on. She was a lot like this little guy. Affectionate and loving. Cats are one of God's great gifts!
@CanadianMaid - I'm so sorry to hear this because I understand all too well. My dog of 16 years passed away a couple of years ago and I am just now getting to a place where I don't get incredibly sad just by looking at his picture. Although, I don't typically look at his picture too much because it bothers me. Honestly, it pains me so much when he was in the hospital that I don't think I can go through it again. When people ask me why I don't "just get another one" they just can't understand the care we put into our little furry friends. It's like having a small child. They hate to hear us say something like that too but it's true. They just don't understand the bond!

My big orange Garfield was like this for 8 years, involved in everything I did at home throughout the day. He died 4 days ago from throat cancer that seemed to come on very rapidly. I am just devastated and am unable to cope with his loss. Honestly, I have no desire to do anything now, I just sit and cry all day without him.
