- J.R. McNeely's "One Man Band" Classic Country Cover "El Paso"
My latest "One Man Band" insanity! Dedicated to my Mom and Dad. "El Paso" was on a Marty Robbins album that used to play at our house when I was very young. I've always loved "Story" songs. This one most certainly is that! For those wondering what I played for the "Flamenco Guitar Licks"....it's my Ukulele! I didn't have a classical guitar on hand. Necessity is the mother of invention. :) Видеоклипы
I searched "el paso cover" about 10 minutes ago and this is the one I was looking for. Now I'm going to search "you're still not the one, that I'm looking for cover".
You’ve done Marty a great honor. This is beautiful.
Very well done, such a tragic song. You payed true tribute to ol Marty.
This song has such a great story line. The melody and the production are haunting. Love it.
My favorite of these!
Perfect J.R. love this song and you are amazing! The only thing off is the picture.....that is a mountain called Superstition Mountain in Apache Junction Arizona...lol...hey nobody is perfect....
This is SOOOO GOOD! What I wouldn't give for the opportunity to record with somebody like you
And, THANK YOU very much for the kind words!! :)
Awesome cover!!!
this is a amazing version. perfect pitch great voice my friend
Ukelele? Hmmm interesting! Sounds GREAT!!!
Jerry Glasure Thank you so much! Yes, I used a ukulele for the fills. I didn’t have a nylon string guitar at the time, and well...I had a uke, so that’s what I used! 😜👍
Superb!!! Sounds like mandolin solo fills?
have to add this you sound like a young Cliff Richard , hope that does not offend lol
Nice cover, but that's not a picture of El Paso
Yes…I am aware of that. The song isn't actually a true story either. ;)
