@nkproad777 I knew there was a picture of a BLW-built 4-6-6-4 at the Helmstetter's Curve. Yeah the WMSR does a great job in recreating a WMRY locomotive and train.
Before this line was abandoned it was a double track. Just imagine what that was like in the steam days when many small drived 4-8-4's and 2-8-0's operated fast freight and passenger on the line.
@CSX6000 HOLY JUMPING JELLYBEANS!!!!! Guess everybody needs one of those things, too bad none are left those things are monsters!! Wow that would be awsome to watch charge uphill with a loaded coal drag, or a HUGE manifest. I really have a lot more respect for the WMRR, but I already did like the old WM.
Awesome! 734 is a heckuva engine. Hoping to make it up there later this winter.
The best steam whistle in the entire world right here (in my personal opinion)
Sweet video, man! I really like this locomotive. Can't wait to go back in the spring!
Excellent as always Adam. Every shot is so well set up.
@TNtrainboy15 Thanks! 734 is mountain thunder for a reason!
yea great catches and video of this railroad of this steamer
nice whistle action too
Sweet video! I hope to see 734 next year!

Nice video! I visited Western Maryland in August and got to meet JoMIFu.
@CSX6000 Whooo wait what!!? How big were those things!? Now I got to catch a photo of one of those! To Bing!!!!

@rgerhardtembarq YES! YES THEY DO! The train is too long for the run-around at Frostburg, therefore 734 would have no way to turn around.
@KyleVideoDesigns Thanks! It's worth the trip!
@alcolovr190 I really don't know much about this line's history. Visit their site, link is in the description.
Plus they like utilizing the dynamic braking of the diesel on the way down the mountain.
@alcolovr190 Glad you liked the video!

Nice footage
@boberttrain831 Thanks! Yeah 734 is pretty awesome.
Even 734 can only pull so much before needing a helper.
@nkproad777 And Challenger-types!
@TheTrainman4449 I've known Joe for a while now. Glad you like the video.
Apparently 2 diesels were needed for this trip
@rgerhardtembarq And if they did NOT have that diesel, the train would have stalled at Woodcock Hollow.
yep the GP 30 was pushing for everthing she was worth at Woodcock Hollow.
@21stCenturyLtd Thanks Kevin!
@imagreatbigman Yes.
@diecastdeluxe Thanks!
Anyone know what faboulius whistle is on 734???
@shininghappyperson7 Thanks!
