Beautiful album Patti! Love all the delicate touches you added. The paper collection is beautiful and fun. I also made an album from this collection that came in a kit and dud some fussy cutting with it as well, but WOW! What you did with the front cover is amazing! Love the music you chose at the end. Had both of my feet tapping in rhythm. How could you not? 😉. Well, I had piano lessons and played trumpet in band in high school. Couldn’t help the tapping as in band it occurred frequently......just not with both feet! Lol. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous album! Keep ‘me coming!
I so enjoy making 8" albums! G45 paper collections are the perfect choice...easy to layer, fussy cut, etc. I think I'll give that split page a try...interesting element. Love that you teach us by explaining various features. Thanks!
OMGOODNESS I love, love, love this album the front page is incredible you did an amazing job on all the cut outs !!! Thank you so much for your great instructions and inspiration !!!
Patti, your mini album is looooovely!! Everything is so beautiful; and I loved that it has room for so many photos. Every page is so pretty; and the front... I loooove scenes like the one on the front! Thanks a lot for sharing, Patti; you're such an inspiration. ;) Greetings! :)
That cover is Gorgeous and so Clever!! And the ribbon idea!! ^_^ Yes! I love ribbon and I'm always looking for new ways to use it!! Thank you so much! Great mini Album and video!
Absolutely gorgeous Patti - I love this paper collection and can't bear to cut into it yet! I love watching your creations and you are so genereus to always share everything, thank you. Karen
Thanks Karen, I'm so happy you liked it. Yes, I so agree the hardest part of any project is cutting into the paper for the first time, after that it just takes on a life of it's own. So get to snipping!!!
I'm studying at present as well as getting ready to go to Germany for Christmas, so believe that any snipping will have to wait until the new year. There's surely no harm in just looking and 'stroking' the papers for a while - lol.
I've been out of touch with new product, this line is really pretty. I love all the details you always put into your mini's patti. glad you enjoyed the envelopes.
I love how you did the front cover, so creative. Love your tutorials. I found you looking up the kaiserKraft advent calendar, I liked your teaching style. Now I am hooked and have spent the rest of the morning watching your channel instead of finishing my project.
Oh Jill what a lovely compliment. So happy you've found my channel and hoping I'll give you some hints or tips that are new while you are watching. Patti
I'm curious, why didn't you use scor tape this time? I know you mentioned people were talking about the glue. I do worry about my album eventually coming apart. I use scor tape because I tend to be messy with wet glue. Thanks for any info. I love the album.
dgmlmax Thanks for asking. I always hate to encourage viewers to do something I haven't done. I kept hearing how great the glue was even for lace and hinges and just about everything so I figured the best way to know first hand would be to try it. I must say I'm pretty impressed by its holding power. There is certainly nothing wrong with scor tape and I think the two of these adhesives will work great hand in hand going forward.
You can always wet your finger slightly with water and smooth the glue out before putting the papers together. I've even used a damp brush to smooth out the glue at times. After gluing if you use something to burnish the top it will not only get the papers to glue together better it will smooth out most wrinkles. Just don't rub too hard (that's the voice of experience speaking! and torn pages)

When I use glue, instead ofscor tape, it seems to buckle slightly. Does anyone else have this problem?
