EX3 came out with more Gallantmon support by way of a 2-colour red and purple Guilmon, Growlmon, and WarGrowlmon. As I don't currently have Gallantmon X or Gallantmon CM, I tried using the BT5 ChaosGallantmon, which kind of works with the newer stuff but not so much with the straight red build. ChaosGallantmon does allow me to bring back the purple BT5 Guilmon after the EX3 Growlmon's inherited effect allows me to delete it for an additional security attack once per turn on attack, while Guilmon gives me one memory upon deletion by an effect. I currently only have one Hiro and 2 Takato, so Tai and Kari does help fill the gap for me.
This deck is straight gas. I don't play gallantmon but my brother picked up the starter when we got into the game so I sent this video to him. Thanks for the amazing digimon tcg content!
whoa this decklist is quite similar to mine! the only thing is that I'm using two copies of Gaia force instead of the third cool boy and the second Omnimon, just to have somekind of defense, hope it's still consistent. Great list and awesome video as always! 👏
Hey, nice deck tech! I don't understand how the 2nd Gallantmon gets 2 security checks from the War Growlmon. Doesn't the War Growlmon effect work once per turn? Thanks!
It is once per turn, but that limitation exists to prevent getting multiple triggers of extra security attacks from additional attacks. If it weren't once per turn, you would keep adding to your Sec + count each time an opponent Digimon gets deleted. The inherited effect gives "this Digimon Security +1 until the end of turn.' Effects that reference 'this Digimon without any limitations beyond that apply to the stack and anything that digivolves on top of it, so when going into Gallant X/Crimson Mode/Omni if you had triggered that effect previously this turn, you'll have Sec +1 for the next swing too.
Hey man. Hate to ask. But do you have a compiled list of this deck, with what sets said cards are from? If not, I can just write it all down. I just assume if you played this in a tournament, you already had to have a card list.
If trying to focus on getting a higher DP wouldn't Calumon be better than Cool Boy for the deck? while Cool boy can dig for X stuff it could just as easily bottom deck Omni, Crimson mode or other non x guilmon evo lines you need.
That is not a bad suggestion at all. The only problem is that Calumon does cost 1 more memory than Cool Boy and is vulnerable to being removed. I would still definitely try it out though.
Im currently running this deck and Ive been loving it, I replaced a st guilmon for a “A delicate plan” to deal with security option cards. I have one question tho, lets say I have X-antibody under my gallantmon, I declare attack and evolve into gallantmon X, what happens to st gallantmon’s security+1?
Then this would be the perfect video for ya! I also got a budget Gallantmon starter deck guide video I uploaded a while ago. So definitely check that out as well!
am i nuts, or was that 49 cards? 12 guilmon, 8 growlmon, 8 wargrowlmon, 7 gallantmon, 2 omnimon, 3 takato, 2 hiro, 3 coolboy, 2 red memory boost, 2 x antibody?
How do you recover when your stack gets blown up by security effects? I played a guy who played security control and i couldn’t touch him because he would delete a full stack everytime
Quick question because i'm new to this game 😂 In your second combo, if Takato has been suspended when you digivolve to Crimson mode, can it still get the blitz from Takato's second effect?
Hello and welcome! Yes, Takato provides the Blitz effect regardless if he is suspended or not. The suspending is only needed for gaining the memory when you deleted an opponent's Digimon.
My deck Uses RiseGreymon to play the Hiro’s and Takato’s for free so Tai is kinda useless to me. The extra DP is more important and you do extra safe checks with Gallantmon X and Crimson mode’s effects anyway so Tai isn’t needed.
My issue with this deck is hitting options in security there is no dedicated play. What if you get bored wiped? Because yes dp is important but it has no protection from options & deletion effects. Unlike greymon or fake jamming in garurumon! The only deck this is primarily go against is armor rush & D-reaper but your builds lower the dp on your own deletion effects. I know d-reapers well ,garurumon ,musketeers security control, beelzemon and just today with my greymon deck I beat old school yellow control, tied beelstarmon muskets & lost to d-bragad/ rucky RUSH with people who bring tear 1 meta decks to locals on a regular basis as in weekly.
The deck I won my first Digimon tournament with a few weeks back with! Gotta love Gallantmon!

Ayyy I was just watching your previous video and came looking for this. Great profile as always!
Love this deck and I was just trying to figure out ratios. It's weird how Gallant has so many solid choices and so little space

I was wondering if you forgot about this, I've been waiting for this one lol
Nahh, of course I will not forget about Gallantmon!
@@AVAULT well you're pretty much my go to for deck builds, Mastemon update in the future?
@@dammit-dylard4811 Working on it!

Ahhh, okay so the effect applies to them, because they're considered "new" digimon on the stack?
This build is very similar to my build, but it's cool to see different takes on it
Hey man. Hate to ask. But do you have a compiled list of this deck, with what sets said cards are from? If not, I can just write it all down.
I just assume if you played this in a tournament, you already had to have a card list.
Wait, the Wargrowlmon inherited effect is just "once per turn", after using it one time, you can't use it again in Gallantmon X?

I agree, Calumon is more consistent then cool boy, also it stacks +3000 dp... gg
Hello there! Are you going to do an update for mastemon, beelezmon and imperidramon soon?
Very similar to my deck! Instead, I'm playing two Monochromon that has blocker which helps me to control. Thanks guys for all the tips!
Great deck profile! Are we gonna see some updates to previous profiles like Beelezmon?
Thanks! Yea, I look into some of the older decks after covering most of the news ones.

I have one question tho, lets say I have X-antibody under my gallantmon, I declare attack and evolve into gallantmon X, what happens to st gallantmon’s security+1?
I would believe that the Sec +1 will be gone as soon as you Digivolve your Gallantmon into Gallantmon X.
I’m a newer player looking to build Gallantmon, I’m 👀👀

rely on the trashing effects more, you can tech a delicate plan if you want as well.
Man the stinkyness of living in Asia where not many stores have the less popular card games

What's the budget for this?
Just a rough ballpark, I think it would cost from $150 to $200.
I don't care how competitive it is. I will never pilot a Gallantmon deck where he would evolve into Omegamon. I feel dirty just thinking about it.
