I love little cabins like that, though personally, I'd add a little bathroom to it. Don't know why guys always ignore bathrooms... but having a little closet with a casset toilet, where you can go without having to get bundled up and make a run to the outhouse... then when you are ready... you can just empty INTO the outhouse... makes sense.

We have a cabin in northern Wisconsin but when it gets this cold and snowy we head back to Saint Paul where it is warmer and there good stores and great bars.

"2 Days Hiding From the Snow in a Cozy Cabin / ASMR" is likely a relaxing and immersive video that captures the peaceful experience of retreating into a warm, secluded cabin while a snowstorm rages outside. Combining the elements of shelter, solitude, and tranquility, this video would immerse viewers in the soothing sights and sounds of winter, offering a comforting escape from the harsh weather.
Not much different from staying home in a blizzard and the power goes out! All of New England did this for a week in 78, difference is you were prepared for your 2 day vacation, wish I had a woodstove then!

Fascinating video. Wish I could manage like that but I am a city boy. Where in the world does the electricity come from way out in the woods? Also, how do you keep the cabin warm at night. Sorry if these questions sound stupid but I am a novice in these things.
Battery power. At the beginning of the video under the table I put clothespins on the terminals. The stove is made of red brick. It heats up slowly but keeps the cabin warm for a long time. Also a quality log cabin keeps warm for a long time.
Could you tell us what kind of meat you used for the evening meal. It looked like pork. The food looked delicious. I think I might make something like this for my breakfast tomorrow morning. In my house though. Greetings from the state of Washington USA.
An axe is almost worthless where I live. All the wood is to hard a knotty to split unless you have a hydraulic splitter and they have trouble with it too.

Next trip up there you should take a good chopping maul with you to make splitting wood easier! Thanks for the video by the way, spent many times out in the interior of Alaska while living in Fairbanks, AK. Loved the cold weather. Back in 89, the Daily Miner newspaper wrote up a story about three of us tooling around on our Mountain Bike when it was 50 to 60 below spent plenty of time outdoors at 80 below and enjoyed almost every minute of it. Was a sorry thing to try and put out a fire in the cab of my auto when it caught fire. Frozen snow doesn't make good for putting out auto electrical fires when its 45 F below, haha!
The main danger of distilled water manifests itself with prolonged use - it is a deficiency of vital macronutrients. Especially magnesium and calcium. Some of the risks associated with distilled water are: - Inadequate hydration due to complete lack of taste - Disturbance of water-electrolyte balance - Decreased metabolism.🙂
