You just bought this? You should have waited, as of January 2020, Greenworks just released the new 60v line that has even more power! I have the 40v, and its also a great saw. I bought my dad the 80v 18 inch saw and he loves it. But all the new saws I believe are using the bigger 21700 lithium ion cells, so they can dump more amps faster and stay cooler. (to my understanding)
@@Impact-OG I've read that you can still use the larger cell batteries with your saw to gain a little bit of performance, but the new saws motors are designed to take better advantage of the larger 21700 cells.
Appreciate the effort, looking to buy one, but that stump was rotten. The post was a good measure, but you need to cut some hardwood like we homeowners want this for. Thanks.
Yes it is very true, but I believe they're batteries r i p rated I'm going to be doing a battery comparison test here pretty soon I think I might pull one of those apart and check it out the inside thanks for watching
Greenworks makes excellent tools at a fair price, but unfortunately, their strategy is completely unreadable. They have been developing 24v / 40v / 60v / 80v / 82v systems, they have recently introduced a dual voltage 24 /48 platform which *might* sound like a replacement for 24 and 40. They also sell some of their 60v / 82v / 24-48v tools under their other brand name "Powerworks". How are we supposed to know which line is worth the investment?
good review. brave to plunge it in the ground!
Great video on how to how to turn a sharp chain into a dull chain. 🤣 Dirt is not good for your chain.
Yeah there was a little dirt, but half the stump was rotten. Hahahah thanks for watching
@@Impact-OG You should have remove the stump and cleaned it before cutting it up. Like a real world example,
Somebody have to do the dirty work for us viewers.
@@loktom4068 yeah buddy
That thing looks sweeeeeeet, Good video bro.
I have this saw and wanna put the 18 inch bar and chain on it. Do you have a part number for Oregon bar and chain? Love your videos !

Item #97595Model #39272L hope that helps
The big bug that jumped in to the hole in 5:20 3 seconds after that gave his life experience of how good is this greenworks
It was a frog !!!
@@Impact-OG its not a frog anymore ....
@@leviSyosef hahahahahahah
Does it need bar and chain oil ? Or just engine oil needed ?
Are you joking with me?? That was just standard cheap bar and chain oil it wasn't motor oil. Thanks for watching man
Would you mind giving part numbers for the bar and chain upgrades you did?
Yeah let me look them up.
Yea , what chain?
Great video. Do you think this chainsaw outperforms the Ego 18 inch electric?
Nice video bro
Nice Video
You should review the Bauer line of tools (impact driver and possibly their cordless chainsaw) thanks for the good content. :)
yes I plan on it, thanks for watching.
You need to test out EGO's new 18" saw. It's a freak

They don’t even let you but the 80v batteries in the UK. A complete scam
@@ImpartiallySpeaking Really? That's nuts, you would think they would be all about "going green" despite the voltage.

It’s a beast!
No cover to protect your batteries in a high dust and debris environment. Add rain and other mosture into the picture over time and prey for the best.

Ultra slow chain speed. Way more vibration than saws twice as fast
