- Greenworks latest generation of 60V lawn care and landscaping tools has been excellent. We saw a big boost in performance when they upgraded the 16-inch chainsaw. Now that design has made its way into the Greenworks Pro 60V 18-Inch Chainsaw.
In this video, Kenny takes the saw out to some nearby rural property, and puts it to use on some recently cut down lumber. He'll walk you through the specs, features, and capabilities of this saw, and fill you in on price and availability.

Great overview! Thank you!
My trigger went bad. No one sells the part, not even GreenWorks. They told me I had to :"Just buy a new one". I owned it just beyond 2 years. Any thoughts on that? Not a company I would recommend buying any power tool from.
This standard 60v saw is 2 kilowatts. the X-Range 60V version, sold by Tractor Supply Store, is 2.5 kilowatts. With either saw, you'll get no more than 1.5kW from the 2.5 amp-hour battery.
Not all kits have the 4 -5 amp mine came with the 2amp
Seems like it might be good for camping in the bush and keep on the ATV
how much oil do you initially put in
I bought this unit but only have 2.0 amp hour batteries and it binds up every time i use it :( so I think I need to buy the higher amp batteries for this to work properly.
I got one sprocket went bad not available green works sent me a second unit free now i have 2 of them but the sprocket not avaliable i might weld and grind to fix it considering having a machine shop make me one
A rim sprocket kit would be a nice way to solve the problem do not know the e t a on a sprocket the saw works better then my supped up ms 250 after the chain got longer i put a sthil bar on it
The second saw has design improvements.vivian chat bot is a bitch and stupid wasted 3 hours and she could not get me a part number good saw support poor i cut hard cedar
Ible
I have one and the battery lasts less than 20 minutes and over heats. Cuts ok. Overall I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I never got more than 3 cuts at a time, let alone 56 cuts with one charge. Horrible product.
Greenworks is not pro😂
come one man, nobody knows greenworks and its garbage! better go for a stihl or echo gas chainsaw🤣🤣
Echo and Stihl contracted Greenworks to make their electric tools.
Can't buy gas chainsaws in Cali.
@@ToolHombre 100% untrue
someone should tell August Hunicke to stop using electric saws 100 feet up in trees then ruclips.net/user/AugustJames2006
Wrong! I have greenworks pole saw ( highly recommend) leaf blower( highly recommend) Tiller ( for the Cannabis farm,lol.. highly recommend) and just bought this , the verdict still out on this but time will tell and if it stands up like the rest of my greenworks , i should not be disappointed.
