Former track bike and kinda macheted looking with mismatch painted body panels hastily put back together to sell a starry eyed sucker. I loved her! Sounded awesome and was a little, or a lot, above my skill level which I found out a week later. Couldn’t afford the supermodelesque ZXR 750 L that haunted my day and night dreams so my Genesis aka “Sketel” sufficed. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing.
@@GenuineMtech if its not a secret... Where do you live? Shouldn't be that hard to find one of the early 750's even though the ZX7R is easier to find... But doesn't have the much cooler graphics that the ZXR has.
Drop a (three) gear(s) and (almost) disappear! Have to say I miss mine, had a black '91 back in the day. Not near as fast as the CBR600's but still a nice bike that handled long rides on the motorway as well as the odd sprint around town.
Naja, wenn ich ein neueres Moped von Kat und allen möglichen Schalldämpfern befreie (die Tüte an dieser FZR dämpft ja kaum mehr was), hört sich das auch ähnlich an. Mit der Serienanlage ist auch die FZR soundtechnisch ein Staubsauger, wie die allermeisten japanischen Reihenvierer aus der Zeit. Augenwischerei ist da echt fehl am Platz.
@@samteks125 Ja, okay, haste schon recht.. Meine FZR von 93 hatte auch den originalen Schalldämpfer..... War nicht so laut.... Aber die Kiste hat auch nur 2000 Euro gekostet, da wollte ich auch kein Geld mehr für einen anderen Topf ausgeben.... War eh nur ne Zwischenlösung, bis ich wieder mehr Geld hatte... Danach kam dann für 3500 Euro die 1. 1200 Bandit Kult, die war geil.... Danach hatte ich nur noch große Kisten ab 1000ccm.... Einmal so was Dickes gefahren, wollte ich keine 600 er mehr... Aktuell fahre ich ne alte BMW 1200 GSA....der alte Luftboxer....
Great bike, I've got the same bike, but in Black, Purple and Pink. I've had it for 14years. The worst part of it is the headlight, absolutely rubbish, I've tried expensive bulbs, still rubbish. I also own a later 4JH, Foxeye model, it is also a great bike, not quite as much fun, but the lights are brilliant. I have a FJ1200, the headlight is also rubbish.
I love the FZRs they're so cool, the FZR600 is like the top of my motorcycle wishlist
I just acquired a solid running 93 fzr600 for 1.5k, sadly shes missing both of the lower side fairings but im fine with it for the time being.
Love fzr´s have two of them. Just pure love for that bike, you can fix everything by yourself and ride it like you stole it :D

Not as yet my friend. Hard to find where I am. Still on my bucket list as I still think it’s one of the sexiest sportbikes ever made.
