Excellent Video! It actually made me go out and get Pure Nature. (I already own RPG Builder). One very small complaint, even at 25% speed (lowest allowed) it was hard to follow the process. Can you post the full version? Or maybe a slower version?
Yeah this came up quite a lot, and even I agree. I wanted this to be as short as possible, but with hours of footage, it is not possible. So future parts will be better. Maybe I should publish a slower video.
It's fun to watch someone put to good work all the same tools I have, except I'm pretty horrible with level design. How long did this take you in real time?
Thank you! These tools are life savers :) I don’t remember exactly it was over multiple days but I think around 8 hours. I’m pretty bad at level design too trust but I try to learn for my own games
Thanks! Unfortunately, I am not considering myself a good level designer. I just do my best with the vision I have for the game I work on. But I do not think I am skilled enough to teach someone about level design
@@masterlewzilla2116 For the RPG Part of things, of course, I use RPG Builder, my own Unity RPG Framework: u3d.as/20L1 For the environment mostly Pure Nature from the asset store And then some tools for the foliage like Vegetation Studio Pro & The Vegetation Engine
That would be nice but I can sort of see habits thanks to the sped up version. I'm seeing basically start with a terrain, elevate something then select the elevation you want and set the whole terrain to that elevation, create a plane for water and put it somewhere within your terrain (beneath the elevation). Then it's all about molding the terrain to kind of be a silhouette of what you want it to look like without any drastic features. After that pick a spot and develop it until satisfied with the assets you have to make the terrain. Rinse and repeat that process using various tricks with transformations to make everything look unique. That's what I got from it. Or at least that's what I'm going to try to get done with it. I'm happy he did say it took 8 days to do this, I'd be totally disheartened if this was done in 30 minutes X_X.
I am very tenmpted by your tool, but is there a way to have dialogues with characters ? So far, I only see a quest system that would ressemble this ???
Great to hear! And you come right on time :) Dialogues are coming in 1.0.4, the next patch. Here you can see my full roadmap for 2021 thmsv.com/rpg-builder-roadmap/ if you ever have any questions or need help with the tool, message me!
Love this video I really needed something to rev up my motivation
Glad you did!

A slower video would be highly appreciated :) The water you use in here is from Pure Nature?
Looks quite impressive, can you list the additional Plugins/Tools you used to realize it?
Mostly vegetation studio pro and the vegetation engine

I feel the same way, it's good to know this took 8 days though - generally I just lose sight of the end and lose my enthusiasm part way.
Awesome! I would love to see that video as a tutorial! 😅

@@drgreenspoon5416 thank you very much!
can you please link the assets?
I would find a longer version with some discussion of technique and tools much more educational.
Thank you for the feedback. I will do better in the next parts!
