Thanks for doing this a much-needed approach. I have been avoiding video like the plague for a long time, but i'm going to give it a try with your help. No one delivers lessons better than you do!

This is really amazing. Got to learn a lot of things in simple language. Now after years I feel like subscribing to this channel is a great blessing.

Nice that Adorama started this series! I'm already familiar with After Effects, but I'm new to Premier Pro CC. This series is very welcomed!

Oh, thanks so much. I've really been wanting to learn but it seemed so daunting. Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks. You did this just in time for me to do my own video from my own motorbike adventure in SW England.

Thanks, Mark. Looking forward to shooting more video this year, so this will be a great learning series for me. (I'm currently assembling video in Apple "Keynote", which isn't really suited to handling the details that Premier can.) Love your teaching style, so I'm looking forward to this.

What a great set of videos. I use Premier Pro a few years ago, made one video. Liked it but have not been back. It has changed since I used it and it looks a much better interface. Looking forward to others that follow. I watch 1 through 3.

Especially for beginners who just want to try out software, do you have any interest in doing this using Da Vinci Resolve 14, which is free to download from BlackMagic Design? Unlike Premier Pro there is no expiration and no monthly fee.

What is the dongle/cable on the viewer's left attached to your MacBook Pro? It almost looks like a some sort of "MagSafe" adapter. If so please send a link for it.

I have Sony Vegas Pro so unfortunately the Adobe-specific parts won't be helpful for me. Some editing techniques are universal, though, no matter how they are implemented in whatever editor is being used.

Mike, I gotta question. I just got a Canon 7D Mark II recently which does Video. After using a Canon 20D for 11 years I am in heaven with such a camera as the Canon 7D Mark II.
I am a complete novice with Video, however. I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 15 to edit Video. I like the idea of a stand alone program instead of "renting". How much of your tutorial using Premiere Adobe Pro CC will transfer to what I use?

Lots of great info in this video, and I'm sure in the rest of the series as well. That being said, APPCC is of no use to me. I live in the sticks where there is no such thing as a reliable internet service, and to spend $20 per month for something I can't use makes no sense FOR ME. Just trying to watch this video was painful as the quality was 240P (anything higher kept buffering). 240P? Is that even still a thing?
I will continue to watch the rest of the series as I may pick up some processes that work with the editing program I have, but unless I can 100% load the program and not need the internet for anything program related. I'm out.
Same reason I won't recommend a GoPro to any of my friends.
Thanks for the great content though!

I really don't understand why on earth do people pay monthly subscriptions to Adobe when in fact there are other & better choices out there with no expensive monthly subscriptions! Here is one example of Adobe ripping off people. Affinity Photo is only £48.99 ($59.99) as a one off payment with free updates & the fact it blows Photoshop out of the water on ease of use & features & as mentioned price! I do of course understand Mark is using Premiere Pro on this project which of course is video but again there are other good choices even for video programs then having to pay expensive monthly premiums to Adobe!
