3:49 I love the resonance you get when you rev the tractor with the PTO engaged. Sounds of childhood.

This is a very high speed harvesting. We had an Ugerlose in the past (20 years ago) and had to drive with it much slower. Else the single chopper couldn't handle it (cutting to long). We used it also many years for silaging. But mostly it was for summerfeeding the cattle.

It makes sense using a c100hp tractor with a single chop harvester, it facilitates cutting at a faster speed.
Using such kit may seem dated however imo with the way climate change is happening with wetter summers coming, perhaps smaller harvesters with smaller trailers will the way to go.

7910 with a tweak is 120 on the shaft, this one looks to be standard

The Gyro looks very much like a Taarup harvester.

That ford need a better exhaust, that one to narrow. lots of back pressure. taking power from the tractor.

Its not so long ago that 90% of silage was done this way, there appeared to more time to get things done then.

      Youre dead right..
I think there was more time allowed to get things done...
Dont think silage was as universal as a feed harvest, hay was more popular with smaller farmers, big farmers had silage pits...
Wrapped bales was an introduction to silage for the smaller farmer.....

Is here PTO works on 1000 or 540 because i have old Ugerlose similar to Taarup and working with Zetor 6911 but there is no way that mine harvester can cut grass on small pieces like this?
