Rich people are buying up farmland and small forests in our state. Only 40 years ago, most of our state was poor, but we didn't know it. We were self-sufficient, so didn't need much. We had each other. Now, we "locals" are still "poor", but outsiders have bought up most of the land and houses so that we "poor" can no longer afford to live here.
It's not just that they're buying it up, but the wealthy are tapping natural resources and are often from foreign countries. Saudi Arabia buys land out west and taps the F out of the desert aquifers to ship alfalfa home for their horses. I know of a wealthy US farmer in eastern Washington who farms organic hay and exports it to Japan. There goes that desert aquifer.
Keep in mind, this is a short term emotional (not logical) issue. If true SHTF hits, property boundaries no longer exist. You only have what you can physically control. Prepare accordingly.
I agree with the person who said, "Class warfare has been going on for hundreds of years, we have just been losing." And , I feel that that the gap between the haves and have nots has widened to the point that this war will begin to escalate exponentially.
Thank you so much for consistently enabling closed captioning. I recently lost the remainder of my hearing, and was shocked to find how many YT channels do not have CC. Thanks for being one of the good guys.
Hi Kris - Have been involuntarily involved in Class Warfare my entire life! As an Early Gen-X’er, I’ve survived hand to mouth on low wages & unemployment cheques my whole working life- now, having to take early SSA Retirement, just to have a “Steady” income. I can’t help but feel the elites are fanning flames for us to commit open war against 1 another so they can impose more tyranny & control. Love the progress @ the Homestead! Good Work! ☮️&🌱
I understand the anger and frustration with the current business model for health care. My example in real time is that I have a suspected brain tumor and I have been fighting for a dye inject MRI to confirm if I have a brain tumor. After two appeals my insurance company has finally agreed to authorize the MRI. Then my nephrologist had to approve the use of dye used for the MRI. Now my doctor is on vacation until January 3, 2025. I'm trying to get another neurologist in the office to order the dye inject MRI. At this point I've waited 95 days for a test to prove if I have a brain tumor. If none of the neurologist in the clinic won't order the dye inject I will have to wait until my doctor returns from vacation. My only other option is to go to the emergency room after another bad fall (part of my symptoms); however, if my insurance deems it as an unnecessary emergency room visit I'll be responsible for the entire bill for the ER visit. Meanwhile all of my symptoms have gotten more frequent and more severe. I can't get treatment until I get a diagnosis. At this point I most likely won't get an MRI until the middle of January 2025. If I was wealthy I would have better health insurance and if necessary could have paid out of pocket for diagnostic testing. Unfortunately, I'm not the only person caught in this cycle of denying testing, treatment, and medication. It's an ongoing trend of insurance companies to maximize their profits. The impact of that is people are enduring unnecessary suffering, limited treatment options due to the months of appeals, jumping through other hoops so a potentially small problem has become a major problem. I know one lady that died before her testing was completed.
So sorry. It needn’t be this way. I worked with a lady (who was only working to pay her family’s insurance), she landed in the hospital over a holiday, where they kept her for 8 days until the surgeon returned to implant 3 stents.
What a frustrating system to be in. Are you in a position to travel to Mexico (Yes, seriously. Yes, ridiculous😒), because a lot of doctors there have had their training in the U.S., and getting a test done there is pretty reasonable. From my experience (which, I must admit, isn't extensive), they seem to have up-to-date equipment and very short wait times. It's usually best to go to someone that a friend has had good experiences with, because, as with everywhere else (including here in Canada), there are "doctors" who aren't or shouldn't be doctors. Just a thought anyway. Sorry you're in the situation you're in😢.
I would like to suggest going to Ferro hospital in Merida Mexico. They speak English. My mamogram and sonogram cost $100 while here in the USA today I paid for a mamogram $560 cash. Over there you get the doctors personal phone number and can call them for anything.
That’s just shameful. I’m so sorry you’re going through that. I have cancer in Canada and the drs are forever ordering dye CT scans every few months for free just to ensure it isn’t spreading into chest/throat. I bet radiation, ct, regular bloodwork all free whenever the drs even suspect there’s a small chance something is spreading. It amazes me how so many Americans are scared of free health care because they deem it somehow socialist.
I'm new to prepping it's a bit overwhelming, but I'm trying my best. Trying to educate myself the best I can and trying to be more self-sufficient. Your videos have definitely helped. Thank you!
It's interesting how our traditionally family-owned farmlands have been increasingly struggling since the 80's and are now being purchased by corporations. Makes you wonder where we will be in another 20 years.
I get the sense of outrage that's prompting the glee. The divide is too great. And I haven't seen a single idea floated out there to correct it that the decision makers (and money holders) would ever agree to. It's not going to get better, not without something major occurring to shake things up.
I can understand why people are upset however, the deleting of executives isn’t how changes are made. There are additional CEOs now being targeted, people shouldn’t have to live in fear because people are upset over their plan coverage or denied claims. I urge you or anyone angry to spend time reading their coverage details, spend time learning how claims processing work and how insurance companies are governed. Everyone is super emotional right now and they want changes and answers tomorrow. It’s not going to be an overnight change. People need to be patient.

A new concern for those of us on the US East coast is the large presence of drones in our skies at night. The federal government is saying there is nothing to worry about, but yet no one knows what they are or where they are coming from. Reports say these drones are as large as SUVs, and there is another report that as many as 50 (in one cluster) were off the coast of NJ. It's a bit unsettling to know that there are literally large, unmanned machines flying overhead and there is nothing known about them. Hard to prepare when you don't know what you are preparing FOR!
Yes that’s why I’m here too. Curious to hear Kris’s take on the drones flying over the East Coast and the new report from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission saying that there’s a missing radioactive shipment.
I don't know if we are on the brink of class warfare, but sometimes I wonder if we should be. It seems that change never comes without some kind of upheaval. 😔 I feel all I can do is to continue to take care of myself and keep my eyes open. Channels like yours help me focus and prepare, thank you.
Your channel is informative, non-political and free of hysteria and hyperbole; it's a relief, even if the news is not always good. Keep up the good work, and I'll be watching your videos when they come out.
I liked your info on the possibility of class warfare starting as a result of the recent elimination of a healthcare baron. Since the have nots in the US greatly outnumber the haves and are arguably better armed I think the risk of cooperate America finding itself under siege is higher than ever.
The Trump (Musk) administration will support the corporations over the people. He wanted the House to get rid of our debt ceiling so he could immediately drop their tax rates again. Amazingly, the House refused to go along with his demand. Maybe there is hope.
I agree that we are about to see class warfare, just hope the new administration doesn't crash the economy and inflict more hardships on the people that can afford it the least ! Thanks for all you do !
Prepping has never been so important as our leaders have proven (again and again) to be a day late and a dollar short when it comes to a national or state crisis. Prepping is essential.
Thanks for the video Kris. The bottom line...keep up with your preps. We could be in for a great period of time for the USA or a bad one but if your prepared you are ready for whatever comes.
Great briefing on these geopolitical issues thank you. Wife and started gardening 3 years ago and this would be a nice addition to our mix of plants and herbs.
I like that you discuss the impact of current events and preparedness.

Civil war happens when the wealth gap between the poor and the rich is too wide. We are there. Brace for impact. Look at France or Sarajevo for reference.
I am continuing to look at my current needs and what can reasonably be done within my budget and available storage space. Thank you for your continuing sense of calm concern.
Thanks for the update! Losing Syria is a hard blow not only for Assad, but also for Iran and Russia. It tells us that they are losing the initiative in the international conflict. It is however difficult to say what this will result in. There are so many different factions internally in Syria, as well as other countries involved. Just like the other conflicts in the Middle East.
You've never steered us wrong Chris! We're in such uncertain times! It's going to get much worse. Keep an eye on what's coming but focus on strengthening your household through prepping. One step at a time. My steps this weekend are dehydrating vegetables, canning bacon (see Chris' video from last year), mapping my yard for gardening, water conservation and collection, and for how renovations will affect everything.
I love 🩵 the new studio's background, Kris! There was glass behind you before, and we could see your left arm waving occasionally in the glass, which was distracting. 🇨🇦
Your calm attitude, presence and take makes prepping actually enjoyable and less fearful and feeling like I HAVE to buy certain stuff. Thank you my man
I've been prepping as much as I am allowed to since I live in a 55+ community with a fascist HOA. I can only stock up on food as they have not regulated that... yet. I would love to plant an herb garden with possibly some small vegetables, maybe a salad garden, but the HOA forbids it. I live in Florida where the elderly are preyed upon by the healthcare industry, local and federal governments, and the infestation of illegal immigrants. I am perplexed at what further efforts I can do to increase my preparedness. What am I to do?
I was over 50 by the time I learned what an HOA was. I find the concept apalling. The irony is that so many people who claim that Democrats are "Socialists and Marxists who mean to take away our freedoms" willingly move into HOA-controlled neighbourhoods. Now if that isn't a good example restriction of freedoms, I must have missed something. Now, I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican. My point is that Socialism is very different from what many US-Americans imagine it to be. From my point of view, HOAs resemble authoritarian regimes.
Without knowing your circumstances, can only suggest that you dedicate yourself to researching options for independent living, take the plunge and strike out alone. Perhaps a small dwelling in a small village if such a thing exists in your, or a further away area, which might provide support if you feel you need that. Authoritarian personalities gravitate towards managing the less aggressive in a community. Avoid these places like the plague unless you like being managed by others or are really unable to look after yourself. Good luck!
Short of moving, many foods can be grown inside and HOA’s don’t regulate plants inside your home (possible exception: illegal plants). Many foods only need 6 hrs of daylight. In Florida, you could rotate window access for indoor plants and still have enough sun. Good luck!
I appreciate your videos because you provide facts without fear mongering , The greatest prep i am working on is my health. You inspired me sharing when you were training for a marathon. I am 20 lbs down. 100 to go.

Looking forward to your update on the drones situation. Thank you for these unbiased takes on world events. I am starting my prepping journey and would love these seeds. Thanks for all you do Kris.
we also run the risk of a depression. banks are primed to fail from when they were deregulated. layoffs in anticipation of tariffs are happening. hiring freezes are now more of them. so may things are imported that we use everyday, either in whole, part, or raw materials. cutting social programs to give more tax breaks to the rich will hurt the average Americans with even more price gouging and high prices. and i doubt the average farmer will get bailed out like they did the last time DT did his disaster tariffs. nothing looks good.......
When the AMA helped eliminate fee for service and old man Kaiser showed how he could keep employees with "company" medical like the old coal mine "company store" debt and govt blessed corporate medical plans is where we went wrong. When I grew up there was only catastrophic medical insurance and routine medical was cheap and family doctors took care of their patients. I even remember house calls! But as a middle class employee I cannot remember a better economic time than the late 1980s, growing my personal wealth along with a young family.
A guy in a Spanish country in South America, maybe Bolivia started the revolution to get independence from Spain because of the power and greed. After they took over the country after the revolution, the new people who took over acted the same as the original government. No change was really made. This revolutionary died saying he plowed the sea. Maybe instead of class warfare we need to not play their game.
The irony of the Thompson shooting and classifying it as class warfare was Thompson was a man not born rich who rose through ranks of the health insurance where as Mangione was a filthy rich and yet he is being touted as the working class hero here.
Assassinations are never justified unless there is no way the rule of law can reach the person for justice (Iran's Soleimani or the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah for instance by the IDF & Mossad). However, to be honest, the class warfare is being fueled by helplessness and not just inflation. The very high cost of using the legal system is a major impediment now. Corporations and wealthy people, with lawyers on staff, can make it impossible for We The Little People to fight them in the legal system where we cannot afford the costs of council! I still do not advocate assassination, but I understand that less stable people feel driven to it. The irony is the United Healthcare CEO's assassin was from a wealthy family!
really appreciate your no nonsense/no fear mongering approach. Remind ,e of Walter Cronkite who literally just reported the news. Its much appreciated!
Chris, your insights are eye-opening. The widening gap between the rich and poor is alarming. Are we truly on the brink of class warfare? It's time to question how we empower ourselves and our communities to foster real change.

The insurance industry is the wealthiest business model in the world, we all should be asking why is that? Their profits are the main goal.
Yes! We should be asking why they’re making more money than doctors & hospitals?
For sure. Insurance companies are not your friend.
Right up there with the pharmaceutical industry…both are corrupt and greedy.
Other than central banks that print money out of thin air, and loan it to gov around the world, charging interest on said monopoly money...
They have obscene profits and almost never pay out

Yes that’s why I’m here too. Curious to hear Kris’s take on the drones flying over the East Coast and the new report from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission saying that there’s a missing radioactive shipment.
Thank you for taking all of this seriously while remaining calm in the delivery of it.
Thank you to you and your team for these updates! They have been increasingly important to get real information.
I don't know if we are on the brink of class warfare, but sometimes I wonder if we should be. It seems that change never comes without some kind of upheaval. 😔 I feel all I can do is to continue to take care of myself and keep my eyes open. Channels like yours help me focus and prepare, thank you.
You are a voice of reason in a tumultuous world. Thank you!
Prepping from 0 after personal crisis... thanks for the motivation... again.
Thanks for the video Chris. Much appreciated.
"Those who make nonviolent revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable" - JFK
Your channel is informative, non-political and free of hysteria and hyperbole; it's a relief, even if the news is not always good. Keep up the good work, and I'll be watching your videos when they come out.
He’s definitely way too far left on some topics.
Thank you, as always, for having a calm head during difficult times. Continue to support you and your message.
The best statement caught my attention "WE HAVE TIME"...
Thanks for all u do Kris.
Amen To That!
Thanks for the update on everything going on.
So much going on, its hard to know what to give attention to and what to ignore. Thank you for helping to narrow it down.
I learn so much from your channel Kris. Thanks for all the investigative hard work!
Concerned. Focusing on my gardening skills.
Your videos are appreciated as always. They are always clear and concise and greatly appreciated.
Just found your channel this week. Thank you so much for posting these. It’s been motivating me to get our family’s preparedness together.
I like your videos where you get information that the mainstream media will never tell you. 👍
Very clear, concise information we can use right now. Thank you so much for providing this content!
For grocery, shop at employee owned stores. And then look for sales on the long storable foods. Get a dehydrator to dry and the store fruit.
Honestly, I really trust your analysis on most subjects. Thank you for your calm, level headed , advice.
Thank you for your channel. The news doesn't seem to ever get better!
I appreciate your informative and calm approach.
Thank you for all you do to keep us informed of what goes on in these crazy times.
I like that you discuss the impact of current events and preparedness.
Civil war happens when the wealth gap between the poor and the rich is too wide. We are there. Brace for impact. Look at France or Sarajevo for reference.
Thank you for the clear-cut, factual, unbiased nature of your vids. Recently found them, and very much appreciate them.
The only Leadership style I recognize is "Leadership BY EXAMPLE." Well done, Sir. Thanks for doing what you do and sharing it with us.
Thank you for keeping us updated and informed.
I bought a dehydrator a while ago, I've never used it yet, perhaps I'll have a go this weekend 😊
I love 🩵 the new studio's background, Kris!
There was glass behind you before, and we could see your left arm waving occasionally in the glass, which was distracting. 🇨🇦
Thank you for helping us understand all that’s happening around us…I wish things were different take care of yours 😊
Democracy or sharing power is not a Middle Eastern trait. Tribalism and religion drive power.
Looks at U.S. Christian nationalism Oklahoma buying bibles for public schools...etc
Thank you for providing sane, common sense information without hype...
Awesome presentation as usual Thank You!!
So much going on throughout the world today.
Move
Without knowing your circumstances, can only suggest that you dedicate yourself to researching options for independent living, take the plunge and strike out alone. Perhaps a small dwelling in a small village if such a thing exists in your, or a further away area, which might provide support if you feel you need that. Authoritarian personalities gravitate towards managing the less aggressive in a community. Avoid these places like the plague unless you like being managed by others or are really unable to look after yourself. Good luck!
I looked into a retirement village with an HOA, but realized it wouldn't be at all practical in a SHTF scenario. I hope you can find a way out.
100 to go.
Thank you as always for your balanced reports! I’m a long time listener. Those seeds would be great! Thank you for making these give-always available. 😀👍👏🏼💕
I think this has been in the back of my mind for a long time, one of my prime motivators for prepping.
Thank you for the efforts you make❤❤
It's never ending turmoil!
Welcome to the 🎉 party 🎊 again, friends! 🇨🇦
I agree that keeping up with current pandemic threats is an important part of prepping.
Am becoming increasingly nervous about world events before Jan . 20.
It's like they're hurrying up before Trump gets in properly.
Thank you for all you do, Kris
Class warfare kicking down is always ongoing. Kicking up is rare and gets a lot of press. Wah wah wah.
You have to wonder how many other murders in NYC have been solved this year.
The homeless guy choked to death on the subway, filmed. The killer just got off, even though witnesses told him to atop.
I have been watching you for years. You give great information, but don't try to scare people. Your relaxing manner helps people take a deep breath and do what needs to be done the best they can.
Noah moved with fear to the saving of his soul. What a prepper!
Thank you and your team for keeping us informed, updated and prepared.
Looking forward to your update on the drones situation. Thank you for these unbiased takes on world events. I am starting my prepping journey and would love these seeds. Thanks for all you do Kris.
I really appreciate your level headedness and your knowledge. Thank you so much for continuing to help and encourage us!
Thank you for all you do to keep us updated.
we also run the risk of a depression. banks are primed to fail from when they were deregulated. layoffs in anticipation of tariffs are happening. hiring freezes are now more of them. so may things are imported that we use everyday, either in whole, part, or raw materials. cutting social programs to give more tax breaks to the rich will hurt the average Americans with even more price gouging and high prices. and i doubt the average farmer will get bailed out like they did the last time DT did his disaster tariffs. nothing looks good.......
Agreed!
Wealth redistribution of the 1% now!
I've got military drones and weird glowing vibrating orbs over my house in NJ. Not worried about class war right now.
What are the glowing orbs? Can you shoot them?
@@twobitsandpepper8235 Such a bad idea.
No, that ain’t got was gonna happen. What’s gonna happen? It will go be a great depression. Three times worse than the original.
Sounds just like the Hunger Games.
Or, as the Who sang, “meet the new boss. Same as the old boss”
The irony of the Thompson shooting and classifying it as class warfare was Thompson was a man not born rich who rose through ranks of the health insurance where as Mangione was a filthy rich and yet he is being touted as the working class hero here.
Good stuff as usual. I particularly like the insightful analysis on Russia.
Which is exactly why Trump has been involved in more than 4000 lawsuits.
Refreshing to see the state of things presented in such a factual and non-biased way. I wish more people would watch this video.
if we only ate 1 billionaire a year, starting with the richest
then in 2 years, there would be no poverty in the USA
If Musk continues to steal all the attention from Trump, Trump just might "remember" that Elon was an illegal immigrant and turn him over to the poor.
really appreciate your no nonsense/no fear mongering approach.
