Look into the global water situation. By 2030 two thirds of the world won’t have access to clean water. That means that nothing else will either. The seas will also collapse by 2035. If we plan to survive what is coming, we need to plan to survive on our own. One thing that for sure entertaining is the “record breaking “ , “ never seen before” and the other problems are NOT new. New to current generations for sure. World has been chaotic forever. We prepped before it was popular. Farmers from rural areas always stored, planned and managed supplies. Now we teach the next gen.
And it can be manipulated by nefarious actors in unexpected ways, like “wildfires” traveling into the wind and Cat IV Hurricanes maintaining strength over land and being held in locations of interest to “outsiders with influence.”
Or people can deliberately not be warned, like in Maui, and then prevented from leaving. And then help is not given, insurance claims are not honored, and offers to buy property appear 🥲

I ran away two weeks before my 18th birthday....no need to hang around to more weeks just to be legal............. no one else even thought about the legalities of what they were doing. I was grounded for a whole summer because I left a wrinkle at the seam of a arm hole on foster dads undershirt when ironing it....Ironing required and only slightly starched. They had 8 foster kids and still two of theirs at home. Their kids had no chores why should they? The had live in help. I'm not bitter but the memories are. Here's what I'm zero percent afraid of: Cyber security risks, AI and automation risks. Here's what I'm prepping for like there's no tomorrow: Economic instability, extreme weather, health crises, food and water scarcity. What's at the top/bottom of your list? Chris has a good list here.
@@falsificationism interesting 🤔 Consider, perhaps reread your comment from an observer pov, notice that the entire list of what you're afraid of and the list you're not, is in fact able, and likely, to directly cause &/or affect all of the concern list. Our entire existence is digitized, from health care to supply chain, to municipal waterworks, to the traffic lights, etc. ALL computerized, linked & online, clearly, all with minimal security as we can tell by all the "leaked customer data" every single day. With the whole ai now passable digital impersonations of real people including their voices here... it's a matter of short time before that starts some shit for real concern too
Yep. We are set up for a wild time in the next few years. People really do need to prepare accordingly. I noticed you did not mention the space alien interactions -- though not a whole lot anyone can do about it or prepare for.
Tariffs have been in place for centuries between countries. The current issues at hand are based in the origin of Nafta regarding the US. The Canadian Prime Minister has not been friendly to the US or very interested in being true to Nafta. I think President Trump in his new term wants to put the US first and realign global finances, the US has carried the burden of money for the global peace organizations. The prices of food in Canada are awful and they are as well in the US in respect to people's income level. We all need to hold our governments accountable and vote your conscience.
WHEW! Dang but if that isn't a whole lot to swallow! Thankfully my car is paid off, as is my one and only credit card. I do have solar panels, but right now the power goes into the local grid, I've been told that I can get a battery to hold some of the electricity generated (I have 25 panels on my roof.), so I could have power in case of a grid down scenario. I should give that company a call, they would have to set up an automatic bus transfer device for just such scenarios, btw the solar panels are paid off, wonder how much I'll need to shell out?
@Denise_B17 They're attached to the roof of my house, pretty hard to take off, but unfortunately my neighbors can see that I have solar. That's also my reason for, kind of, spreading the rumor that as a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan that I may be a little trigger/happy/twitchy!
Big money always seeks to maximise returns at the expense of everything else .that creates threats to each country and each individual that only knowledge about what is happening can help you to prepare for the unexpected..
On phone numbers: If you have one or two or a few VERY critical phone numbers, the BEST thing you can do would be to memorise them. Because, guess what! As they say, shit happens! Your mobile phone breaks. It somehow manages to fall into that one puddle of water in the carpark. Also, for that reason, have phone numbers written down someplace.
All valid points but extreme wx, IMO, is ranked too high. I have worked outside for most of my 70 years with no plans on stopping anytime soon. One thing I have noticed is that it cold in the winter and hot in the summer no matter where I live. If you use common sense and look at what you plan for the day it limits the daily impact. Admit that localized storms, tornadoes, hurricanes are serious but generally not nation wide. I may change my opinion with entering a solar max cycle this year but I have gone through several of these and still find hot in the summer, cold in the winter is a constant.
I go wilderness camping in Canada as much as possible. I have all the bases covered - a Spot satellite texting device for where my i-phone has no signal, but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS paper maps from the Canadian military. None of my friends with similar leisure activities do so and actually laugh at me for my belt and suspenders approach. More fool them, in my opinion.
Forget buying USA... Buy used! I don't buy anything at retail price. I can buy 4 sets of used tires for the price of 1 set of new tires. And that's before tariffs. As for clothing there are already large stores selling used brand names if you're so inclined to wear brands. Personally I remove any brand ID from anything I own.
@@itszachyabish9796 it started when I was in middle school. My mom bought me a new Iz0d outfit for school and she was horrified when I removed the little alligator from the polo and the jacket. It was just stitched on so easy to remove. Brands have since resorted to embroidering their logos onto clothes to make removal difficult. I say if you can't remove it just cover it up. I personally like duct tape to cover them up. Besides duct tape comes in so many colors you won't really have to worry about running into a brand clone wearing the same duct tape. As if that would be a problem lol Tennis shoe brands can be challenging so flex seal does nicely and dries permanent yet flexible. The brand I can't stand the most is N0rth Farce, they literally invented the rear facing brand logo. I guess to keep their brand clones in a straight line at the office where their "outdoor wear" is most popular lol
I am 64 years old I do not worry about these things mentioned here, these problems are nothing new. The only threat old people face is dying of old age health issues. We old people leave any other threats to the young generation to handle and to worry about. I am going to enjoy every day the time I have left on earth the simple things in life not politics or other events. I just do not care so prep all you want and live in fear.

We prepped before it was popular. Farmers from rural areas always stored, planned and managed supplies. Now we teach the next gen.
Great information to discus with our family! Lots of changes - we need to expect them to- planning and preparing!
My main uncertainty is the weather because it doesn’t tell you what it’s going to do.
Love your videos! Thanks for all that you do, Chris!
Hi Kris, great video. I have one request though my mother-in-law is in her late 60s and she love to see your videos. She cannot hear very well so she was always relying on the subtitles on the screen, if you can activate that it would be great thanks!
If you tap the box with cc in it in the upper right corner of the video, it will turn closed captioning on.
@@tthappyrock368 My CC isn't producing readable captions. Way too small. Don't know how to fix that. Tried everything I can think of. Aany ideas?
I tap to turn on the cc and then rotate the picture from portrait to make it sideways on the phone. The pic is bigger and so are the captions.
@@tthappyrock368 Thanks but the CC box in inactive/dimmed in this particular video and a few other ones.
@@twick7117 Thanks, what I use is a 27" computer. The cc used to work fine on RUclips, but there have been problems with it lately. It's frustrating. I appreciate your response.
Thank you City Prepping
Thank you for explaining the reason why our food supply is problematic and HOW the crazy output of such a select few varieties puts us at risk of supply issues in the future.
You did a great job as usual but there are so many things i can't do bei g at work and traveling in total 10 to 10.5 hours a day and I am alone.
Thank you and I will do what I can.
For more than 70 years I have been facing threats that others created. I am not going back to bed, pull the blankets over my head and I hope someone will check as see if I am alive at some point as I have cancer and I am too sick and in to much pain to worry about things I cannot change. Trust me I have voted and it changed nothing since I was 21 years of age. If it had, we would not be were we are now! You can't a leather walled from a pig skin..........Anyone seeking office is more than just a " do gooder" their looking for the bang from the bucks. Cynical??? You Bettcha! As I said....I am over 70 and was raised in foster care...which cared very little....unless it was a foster dad poking about the bedrooms late at night. At some point you can remember the things without the pain. As Briar Rabbit said..." You know you have become a real rabbit when your fur is rub off!
I wonder if this applies to humans that are bald?
Thanks for the chuckle! At 68, feeling much the same! Paper books are my "drug of choice" when i need a reality break!📚. Good Luck to you!🍀
@@patriciatinkey2677 Yes, I feel the same also. I need to get some good paper books, it's been a while since I've been reading anything other than politics and survival. Anything good out there? Good authors?
Half of our success in life is overcoming rough beginnings and rough moments. I hope you feel better soon. ❤

Here in Toronto prices are going threw the roof milk is 1049 and going up so I'm prepping for whatever but Chris I see it too. Your helping us prep by giving us advice on what to do.
I'm in Toronto. I bought milk today for $6.38. I've never seen milk at the price you said.
Better put a fascist in charge then!
If u know any one in a different state get them to send u groceries if it can be shipped to you maybe not the milk idk but maybe other items that's cheaper in their state
Where are you shopping, Kim’s Convenience?
THANK YOU - I couldn't agree with you more - on the possibilities of AI. And, after all, a few billionaires are heavily invested in it, and the chips which would make AI widespread! 😮
Thank you! I appreciate what you do!
Why is solar expected to rise? Tariffs from them coming overseas?
Just ordered a mechanical watch.
Solar Cookers - no fuel, no fumes
Thank you
Thank you for this. I appreciate what you do here.
My problem with vpn providers is all your data is being funnelled into one spot. A legitimate provider or not, hacking remains a risk. Also ill need to know there local government laws in regards to data management
Google says it already is. I guess its about who you trust more.
Save your wealth in real things .commodities that you can use and that have long term value...fiat currencies and bank accounts. Shares in the stock market and even government bonds have in the past lost all or most of their value..
So, in short then:
Welcome to Crazy Town, next Stop, WTAFville.
Buckle Up, kids, gonna be a bumpy ride.
Just kidding, kind of, seriously tho, a well thought out & thorough video, CP team, thank you for your time as always. ❤
I am this minute taking the wax out of tea light tins and putting a hole in the center. I put the wick back from under the bottom. I have a ton of long wicks that can be used, the tins hold the wicks and plan to sit in small dishes of cooking oil. The wax I will melt to make my buddy burners.
I tried this just now and it works fine for 30 seconds, then goes out. What am I doing wrong? I used olive oil and candle wicking. Did yours stay lit?
Good list!
SKYNET IS ABOUT TO BECOME AWARE!
*A.I. technology,
*Drone warfare technology,
*Automated manufacturing,
*Sexbot technology (T-1000's)
Here's what I'm zero percent afraid of: Cyber security risks, AI and automation risks.
Here's what I'm prepping for like there's no tomorrow: Economic instability, extreme weather, health crises, food and water scarcity.
What's at the top/bottom of your list? Chris has a good list here.
Economic has always been #1. If you have money you can skate through any situation. My go bag is packed for wildfire.
@@falsificationism interesting 🤔
Consider,
perhaps reread your comment from an observer pov, notice that the entire list of what you're afraid of and the list you're not, is in fact able, and likely, to directly cause &/or affect all of the concern list.
Calling a Boycott USA - 25% Tariffs. Buy Canadian. Buy Local. Canadians are fighting back
Good luck with that. Trump is not trying to hurt our brothers and sisters to the North. It’s your leadership that is making this happen.
@@bobmcnelis3648absolutely not true. Trump loves his dish of chaos
Holy crap. I am pretty sure I heard you pronounce “susceptible” correctly at 11:17! Well done, CP, well done! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 😊😊😊
Excellent overview! I am more aware of the weak areas in my preparedness.
Are the STATES you mentioned more at risk of energy / electricity loss, or anywhere?
Thank you Sir.
Great stuff, Kris! I truly appreciate all you do! I’ll ask the $64,000 question… What is the likelihood of a major nationwide disruption?
Thank you for information
I'm still troubled by the east coast port worker contract.
Thanks for keeping us informed.
Welcome back.
Excellent! Thank you!
Batteries are VERY expensive
@@meghanschwanke1133 So I've heard
, thanks for the heads up.
Also I hope the solar panels are not in plain site. We have some but not on the roof as sadly FEMA could take them or thieves. Ours are not in site.
@@Denise_B17What nonsense you are spouting. This is not helpful to anyone. Truly educate yourself.
Big money always seeks to maximise returns at the expense of everything else .that creates threats to each country and each individual that only knowledge about what is happening can help you to prepare for the unexpected..
It's not scary living on the top of a volcano, in hawaii, but the fact is that 85% of our food is shipped in
Yeah! That's why we are stocking up this year. Best to stock up before tariffs start. Stay safe everyone
with time, i've come to watch these videos for entertainment but now i know i'm screwed i just can't say when i'm gonna be hahahahahha
The first 5 1/2 minutes is one massive ad.

Have you been having issues on the site lately also thanks for the items.
Yes. We've had to do a lot of fixes. If you have any problems, please contact our support team.
24:29 Hey, it's not about "the weather"; it's about the climate. You may wish to do a video on pending tipping points. There are quite a few of them.
Checkout Volkswagen and BMW in Germany and Austria.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH I ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW ON YOUR VIDEOS🥰🙏
Thanks Kris for the video.
I just woke up, this put me to sleep for 3 days. What happened, I'm dosing off again.
Can u compare previous years predictions
I go wilderness camping in Canada as much as possible. I have all the bases covered - a Spot satellite texting device for where my i-phone has no signal, but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS paper maps from the Canadian military. None of my friends with similar leisure activities do so and actually laugh at me for my belt and suspenders approach. More fool them, in my opinion.
Great video!
REQUEST: Add “cc” (closed captions). Thank you
You turn them on yourself by clicking on the CC button at the bottom band of the video where the controls are for volume, play speed, etc.
Thank you.
I like that alot! How do you remove the brand logos and such? Thanks for your help and time brotha
As if that would be a problem lol
Tennis shoe brands can be challenging so flex seal does nicely and dries permanent yet flexible.
The brand I can't stand the most is N0rth Farce, they literally invented the rear facing brand logo. I guess to keep their brand clones in a straight line at the office where their "outdoor wear" is most popular lol
Great as always. Thank you
I love how he keeps saying “authentification” 20:15
I remember that ever since the February 2019 INF treaty withdrawal by Russia, tensions have been escalating.
A great overview, thank you
I am 64 years old I do not worry about these things mentioned here, these problems are nothing new. The only threat old people face is dying of old age health issues. We old people leave any other threats to the young generation to handle and to worry about. I am going to enjoy every day the time I have left on earth the simple things in life not politics or other events. I just do not care so prep all you want and live in fear.
thank you once again...
Thought it was good, always plan for the worst hope for the best.
Good job Chris.....though I doubt we align politically (you suffer from California Disease). I appreciate your efforts and the quality of your work. You've earned it and I respect that.
Thanks
Nice overview. Thanks for the VPN link. Time to do this.
