They also said in a vid that they would double your prize money in any international parkour event they place 1 2 or 3rd in. So if you wear a storror t shirt and place 1 2 3 they will double your prize money.
It's the spirit of David Belle not wanting competition for his sport. Eventually it was going to happen but when it did it didn't have any toxicity. If you compare this with Bboy you'd realise bboy has a lot of rivalry and fight mentality every individual have against the other.
And his creativity , i know he did afew same tricks in final run but he didn't deserve 76 on his creativity , almost all of is tricks are unique , he was Number 1
I feel like if art of motion wanted to go the creative route with their course next year, set up a course in a cave or something like that. It would make for a cool aesthetic
I think the low creativity score was deserved. He repeated too many things and only showed 5 things, 3 of which were impressive. Extremely skilled but needs to be more creative, don't repeat moves and keep moving.
@@chrism45 yeah I think his flow was too low tho, it wasn’t perfect but he was connecting his moves together pretty cleanly, it shouldn’t have been such a low score. It was inconsistent with the other competitors.
Yeah, I bet he would get that. This was high risk though and he's lucky he didn't get seriously injured when falling. He got to the finals though and proved that he's still world class.
@@onreact His first run was shaky and not as good as the third place in his heat. He got a champion bonus to advance and then wasted it on a dangerous bail. Imo this goes to show that letting people advance based on prior achievements / status in the scene is a mistake.
@@forasago He didn't waste it - he is one of the best in the game and decided to go for something next level, it just didn't work out this time. That happens in parkour, and in life in general.
I'm happy to be able to see this in person. It's so interesting and awesome that they made the course on a boat. This will always be my favorite event every year along with red bull bc one. 💯
Amazing experience. Every run had its highlights even though Krystian outperformed everyone. Met him in person and he is not only a humble athlete, but a great personality aswell!
Judging is just hillarious. How Can get Verky for Creativity less then Noa? Noa's Run was clean, but webster, wallflip and one 1.5 A-Twist is harder then Traviss run? As a dude if i did Noas Run i would got somiething like 40 points
@@youssef.0exe of course the girl scale is different....i think it was pretty clear and i don't know why so many poeple are complaining about it....do they think that the girls should be judged the same even if they cannot physically do the same moves as the men?
Solid performances and i hate to be a downer but the commentators are so damn annoying. Please boot the layman redbull dude, and while frosty tries his best it'd be nice with someone who isn't an american with whacky hipster names for 40% of the moves.
Eh i felt like it was okay. 1 pk expert and 1 professional host. Maybe an additional pk expert would make for better back and forth. Maybe Jason Paul or Toby Segar. Toby isn't a huge talker but when he does speak its usually pretty insightful.
@@kusholh7095 I've cooled down a bit since watching lol I agree it wasn't horrible - it's a tough task after all. I think they should have someone who is in tune with the new school of flippy flowy stuff and probably speaks english natively (if it's to be in english). Someone among the motus guys like Marx or honestly Giles could've done a great job live analyzing the movement.
Elis did so much better than Noa imo, Noa should have gotten like 4th place in the first heat thing, not second Edit: I for real think they were only nice to Noa because of her age
she had arguably the cleanest run of them all...even the men......and yes that of course it was because she was hitting "simpler" stuff, but that's how it works, it happen the same in things like the Olympics with gymnastic/dives/ice Skating events
@@micheleduritto I honestly think the judges have a "women's standard" and a "men's standard", and that's fine except when they're competing together. It's just weird that she can do half of what a guy does and get close to or better scores. It ain't just 'cause her run was clean. I'm really not trying to hate but rather discuss this weird judgement choice... She had no business being in the final; she didn't even practice a run for it LOL

CONGRATS KRISTIAN!!!!
(side note shout out jush melone for doing tricks ahead of his time)
such a great run
Yet he only scored a 78 in creativity?
The way the boat was constantly changing levels, I couldnt imagine what that felt like. you can really see in in verkys run. Respect!
I love how more athletes are wearing storrorsport than redbull on their clothes
Well storror is synonymous with parkour/free running while redbull more diverse, just the fuel for every extreme sports haha.
They make good stuff. More parkour oriented, like farang.

Benj seemed so nervous,
adorable☺️
Next year AOM should push things to the next level even more... AOM but UNDERWATER
Into the spacee..
AOM on Mars
Aom on the sun
yes, they should make it a course like the TV show Wipeout, Takeshi's castle or MXC..so it makes things more interesting with difficult obstacles
aom on thimbling floor

Ah darn that boat is really claustrophobic. Not the best setting imo
Not as much grip on these surfaces as concrete too
This competition knocks the Super Bowl out of the park.
Big up Ed Scott 2nd place to the lad from Britain! 🤙
Elias Torhall should have been rated way higher like 380 at least

Why are the boats so far from the crowd?
To make sure the people don't catch the parkourona virus!
And maybe so idiots don’t throw things on the boat, it prolly is hard to see the athletes tho.
Yes he absolutely deserves that win with I out a doubt. Battling injury after injury 💪🏽🤙🏽🤘🏽
