Hi Guy. This is the route we went. But not nearly as hefty as this idea of yours. Used 45mm Iroko and made up about half your length then sandwiched it between two layers of ply effectively trapping in the stringer. Cheers mate, i am sure if you've done it as thorough as the rest of your work it will be fine. Ive over built it like most things and over complicate it, my main concern was being able to do a thorough job in the restricted area ( had visions of wet epoxy stuck everywhere it shouldn't be :) and no access below.Cheers.Guy
