I know the train is missing a crew. I apologize. I will add them later on. Imagine they are ducking down and hiding or from the robbers. :) I didn’t have train crew figures on hand in 1:72 scale, which is another great reason to sign up for Model Creator. When I can easily customize and print a train crew from home, I will never have that problem again!
Thank you for the amazing video. You have greantly inspired me to make imaginary wild west dioramas myself. I can't thank you enough for all the amazing videos you have. Also thank you for explaining why people use IPA when using glue, that always confused me :)
My comment was going to begin, "Not to be nitpicky, ...". 😁 I was imigining them ducking, or wondering if the trains had become automated. I was thinking that just because they don't like electricity, they don't necessarily dislike automation.
If you are going to add to it anyway, I would add something across the tracks too that the robbers laid down. They would have put something down to stop the train otherwise it would just blow past them.
I just never get tired of this wild west theme. So many great builds, and so thrilled to see your channel continue to grow in leaps and bounds. Build on my friend!
I could watch you build your imaginary wild west for hours on end. I honestly thought you were going to kit bash an existing train model and then I was like of course he's building it from scratch! The canyon wall looks great!
Dear Mr. Boylei. I discovered your channel when my daughter was born in september 2020. She had a difficult birth and some very difficult first days and weeks. There must have been something with your calming voice, but she always slept beautifully on my arm watching your episodes. And I had some precious minutes of peace. She is now 16 months old and we are still watching every episode together. I think this will be one of those small things I won't ever forget, that sleeping worm on my arms while somebody glues Star Wars dioramas. Thanks for the awesome videos and greeting from Belgium.
I absolutely love this entire series. I've come back to look at many of the videos. I'm just totally blown away by all the different things you're able to do. Stay safe, and thank you!
Great diorama, just one nit. There's needs to be a couple of boulders or large logs on the tracks to slow the train down. Otherwise the engineer will just slam the throttle forward and zip right by the Train Robbers. 😁👍
The cool kids spray isopropyl alcohol 😂 This has such an epic look to it! It’s a rare thing to see a true kitbash look like a high quality factory built model. So awesome!!
I want to see the “Electric followers” train! I can’t see the Train Engineer, guess he’s hiding. Nice build. I hope the Spiders stay out of those Tunnels! Carry on!
When I was in school, they used to assign dioramas for projects, and say, "you can't just buy everything and make it, you'll have to be creative." I used to go way o erboard with those directions and find that I was taking it too literally, and I had tried to create way too much from bits and pieces, where some of the components, were just ok to buy and glue. Even though I put more work and imagination into it than I had to, I'm glad I did, especially watching your videos. Seeing that there is a really clear niche for this type of hobby only inspires me more to pique my imagination.
Excellent job as usual Boylei, I think to further flesh out this conflict you should consider making some sort of western power plant. That would explain the source of electricity. Maybe it could be some form of hydro electric power generation.
here I am thinking "sick another awesome wild imaginary west vid cant wait to see what he does with a train kit" but no he just goes and makes a bloody train out a bunch of random shit, love it
This was awesome! The smoke looks really great, and the details on that train are just great. I agree, I think the contrast is really nice with your other builds for this world. Can't wait for the next!
I used to be a team lead in the toy industry and my people were pretty awesome - but your level of combining model building with story-telling is absolutely exceptional!
Thank you. I've been requesting a Steampunk Train for your Wild Imaginary West series for about a year or so, and what you made (and how you made it) was well-worth the wait! That tension between Steam and Electricity sounds like a variation of the feud between sheep herders and cattlemen in the actual history of the West. (Spoiler alert: the cattlemen won.) I suspect that the backstory in your Wild Imaginary West would boil down to a competitive battle between the coal industry and whatever alternate source is being used to generate the electricity and/or the producers of the high efficiency batteries that makes electricity a viable option to steam. In any case, I can't wait to hear (and see) more! Thanks for posting this, (and for putting up with my chronic requests, that will officially end here and now.)
I have also been requesting a steampunk-style (hover train anyone?), for awhile now. While this train build is awesome, I am still bummed that there isn't anything hovering or flying in this diorama. Not to say I disappointed with this video, not in the least. He scratchbuilt a steampowered train for crying out loud! 😳 Hopefully he will be doing a dirigible or a steampowered flying machine somewhere down the line.
@@earlware4322 technically he's only built a locomotive. A train is a locomotive pulling rolling stock. Which is a really impressive thing still, a very impressive locomotive and brilliant diorama.
I think its important to point out that with the exception of wind, water, and solar powerplants; even today, all powerplants use Steam Power to convert the fuel sorce - weather it be coal, gas, oil or even Nuclear, to rotational energy to turn their turbines. I dont really see there being a battle between steam and electricity, as Electricity NEEDS steam power to function on a large scale
Well, when you said "...help them get off the ground...", I kind of thought at first it may have been a reference to the flying train from a certain time travel movie. Kit bashing is cool.
I have to say I have become absolutely addicted to this alternative history project! I am curious to see what effect, if any, the combination of technology and monsters had on the Civil War. Keep up the great work!
The imaginary wild west is such a cool scene and every time a new video comes up it makes my days so much brighter. Your work is incredible and is such a positive influence on me
I appreciate you, brother and your videos. Techniques on the builds, techniques with different paints, inspiration, etc. I like all your references to Colorado. I'm about 10 miles east of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. -Rick, USMC
Awesome build series and setting that you are developing. Especially love the amazing kit bashing for really cool custom models. Train needs some crew if any figures will fit in the cab.
I’m doing a school project and having you explain all everything about terrain is so helpful thank you so much and love the western builds my favorite are the ones with animals or beast
I love it and I'm excited for more to come....I'll be honest and say, I was hoping for a bat-like creature in the tunnel or the hold up crew having a massive monster harnessed to help stop the train...
your voice is so soothing... exactly like if not better than meditation guides. Helps me fall asleep when my insomnia gets really bad too. love your videos and creations! keep up the good work!
Awesome, this totally opens up your wild west world. I can for see some epic clashes a brewing, or maybe that's just what my head is telling me. Lol. 👍
Fantastic rock design love the results you get with a hot knife. The train 🚂 if you ask 100 people 98 of them would say it was store bought amazing work!
I was honestly expecting you to use any old 1800's locomotive from Tyco or Bachmann and make modifications to those so they fit in with your world I'm pleasantly surprised to see you make one from scratch.
Love the Wild Wild West theme. The Train robbery can take on so many formats hey? One day I'd like to do one with the actual railroad tracks blown up or sabotaged to force the train to stop. Keep up the great work on this Wild West universe.
Once again a beautiful diorama. The loco building was very interesting. Though no water tender was not there. You could include one engineman or a fireman.
Dude! This is all SO awesome! Can't wait for more trains!!! :D You're like one of my few favoritest channels and you make things that are so fun, and you make videos that are so fun out of them and the music here is SO FUN and I like the Wild Imaginary West the best! :D (So fun!)
Love it! That scratch built engine looks fantastic! I really like your Wild West series. Especially since they have a sci-fi theme to them. Thanks for sharing, have a great day! Model on!
this is actually the first time in diorama ive liked the execution using that kinda cotton/stuffing material. (in this case, for the smoke). after watching a lot of diorama and stopmotion videos, i usually feel like it can really take away from a really high quality build otherwise, and i was never really sure why. i think seeing yours made me realize that it's because it's often just left uncolored and unshaped like an afterthought. i like how you changed the texture of the fluff to be denser, added realistic colors/shading to the smoke, and focused on the shape. you didn't go into much detail on how you did it, but that was a really satisfying addition for me to see
I know the train is missing a crew. I apologize. I will add them later on. Imagine they are ducking down and hiding or from the robbers. :)
I didn’t have train crew figures on hand in 1:72 scale, which is another great reason to sign up for Model Creator. When I can easily customize and print a train crew from home, I will never have that problem again!
I actually need a little guy…. Did you post a link to Model Creator? If so I can’t find it…

Would be cool to add bullet damage to the train!
I just never get tired of this wild west theme. So many great builds, and so thrilled to see your channel continue to grow in leaps and bounds. Build on my friend!
Love your work too my Fellow Star Wars Nerdz 😂
Yehaw partner
Ya
Yes I love the west builds
The dry humor and the great dioramas is what makes this channel the best hobby channel on youtube
I could watch you build your imaginary wild west for hours on end. I honestly thought you were going to kit bash an existing train model and then I was like of course he's building it from scratch! The canyon wall looks great!

That's a great story, man! Moments like that stay with you forever, so best wishes to you and your daughter, and I hope he sees this post
Glad to hear she's doing well man. Best of luck to you and yours!
I absolutely love this entire series. I've come back to look at many of the videos. I'm just totally blown away by all the different things you're able to do. Stay safe, and thank you!
Your imaginary west would make a fun RPG.
Basically just Fallout
Boy do I have news for you
your in luck
Bro had a vision 😂😂😂
You are not gonna believe what I’m about to tell you
wild imaginary west is literally my favorite series on youtube. ill never get tired of these builds
Love how you build your own train out of scarps and extra parts, you are a genius. I called it Good.
I love the way the train turned out. Super creative use of spare stuff just laying around
Wow didn't realize you scratch built the train. Assumed you used a kit for it. Fantastic!
Great diorama, just one nit. There's needs to be a couple of boulders or large logs on the tracks to slow the train down. Otherwise the engineer will just slam the throttle forward and zip right by the Train Robbers. 😁👍
Train robbery?! That has to be my favorite Wild West theme. Love train fights
My face Grench-stretched at "time to start making the train." So frikn cool.
Tour videos are just so satisfying to watch!
Your creativity seems limitless. Your videos are short and sweet. Awesome job.
The cool kids spray isopropyl alcohol 😂 This has such an epic look to it! It’s a rare thing to see a true kitbash look like a high quality factory built model. So awesome!!
The cool kids use it; the bad kids chug it. 😋 (Public Health Notice: Do no sip, chug or quaff iso).
The isopropyl alcohol joke got me, very funny. Great work as always!
I want to see the “Electric followers” train! I can’t see the Train Engineer, guess he’s hiding. Nice build. I hope the Spiders stay out of those Tunnels! Carry on!
WILD WEST WORLD! Whoop! And a TRAIN!!! Love it!
AND a full layout coming!??? Let's go!
Hoping for a monster in this diorama-again no monster! Nice build!
When I was in school, they used to assign dioramas for projects, and say, "you can't just buy everything and make it, you'll have to be creative." I like all the details you put into your diorama.
Excellent job as usual Boylei, I think to further flesh out this conflict you should consider making some sort of western power plant. That would explain the source of electricity. Maybe it could be some form of hydro electric power generation.
A hydroelectric dam--or part of obe--under attack would be a cool diorama.
I'm so happy there's a new Wild Imaginary West! I'm so sorry there are no new monsters! Great video, as always!!!
The loco is the monster in this one!
Yuuuussss Imaginary Wild West train!!! Dang that smoke looks spot on 😮
It is so hard to believe that your train was kit-bashed from bits of other model boxes and a reciept roll, this model train looks incredible!
Truly superb! Wonderful scenery, love the rocks, loco...and smoke!👍👍
here I am thinking "sick another awesome wild imaginary west vid cant wait to see what he does with a train kit" but no he just goes and makes a bloody train out a bunch of random shit, love it
Autonomous steam train technology, what a time to be alive!
This was awesome! The smoke looks really great, and the details on that train are just great. I agree, I think the contrast is really nice with your other builds for this world. Can't wait for the next!

I've been requesting a Train Robbery for a while too; its great to see it come to life, so to speak
I think its important to point out that with the exception of wind, water, and solar powerplants; even today, all powerplants use Steam Power to convert the fuel sorce - weather it be coal, gas, oil or even Nuclear, to rotational energy to turn their turbines. You scratch built a steam locomotive, didn't see that coming and was amazed at the results!! Bravo and Well Done!!
Really living for this wild imaginary west world
Hey we really would love to see another underwater monster diorama of some kind !
Love how you say: I called it good.
So inspiring! I started calling my stuff good too.
Stunning as always. Love watching this world come together!
I'm so addicted to your channel that I've wstched everything and now I'm watching everything again a second time!!
The imaginary wild west is such a cool scene and every time a new video comes up it makes my days so much brighter. Your work is incredible and is such a positive influence on me
The diorama, like all of your work, is great - but I have to say that the creation of the train is absolutely outstanding!
I love the way your dioramas jump into life with the painting of the terrain and vehicles. So cool
Very nice build. the locomotive turns out great. The steam locomotive needs a crew! No robbery without victims.
your attention to detail is astonishing. I saw very few mistakes. It's amazing how you can put so much detail into such a small piece of work.
Great job as always, but that locomotive is AMAZING!
I love the way your mind works. The dark humour gets me everytime! Imaginitive stuff!
This is awesome. I can't wait for 1 and half years from now when you have a whole small town bulit
I appreciate you, brother and your videos. Techniques on the builds, techniques with different paints, inspiration, etc. I like all your references to Colorado. I'm about 10 miles east of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. -Rick, USMC
OMFG THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! 😱😀👍
10/10
Awesome build series and setting that you are developing. Especially love the amazing kit bashing for really cool custom models.
Train needs some crew if any figures will fit in the cab.
Boylei 👏 you 👏 have 👏 done 👏 it 👏 again! This is so epic looking. I really think your painting skills are what sets your projects apart!
The details look incredible. They almost look so real.
This imaginary sci-fi west gives me such Firefly vibes each time. Great project.
You should make a wild imaginary west gun and weapon store, that would be pretty cool. Great vid👍
I’m doing a school project and having you explain all everything about terrain is so helpful thank you so much and love the western builds my favorite are the ones with animals or beast
i love seeing this world come together
Great job on your train it look like a real train from 1800 your a great modeler happy modeling be safe have a great and nice day be safe
I love your Diorama and I'm super excited for upcoming projects.
The train has no driver, it's out of control! apart from that, loving these WIW dioramas
That's a nice looking diorama, As a N scale train enthusiast I commend you on your art work making it so realistic.
Very cool with the scratch/kit bashed(not sure if this would be the correct way to describe it) train, I love it.
it feels like I have been waiting for the next wild imaginary west for so long
Two of my favourite topics - western and sci-fi - in one project. Consider me tickled.
That short triumphant bit at the end is really neat. Thanks for making this nice video
I love it and I'm excited for more to come....I'll be honest and say, I was hoping for a bat-like creature in the tunnel or the hold up crew having a massive monster harnessed to help stop the train...
Looking at the thumbnail for this video I never would have guessed that you had kit bashed the train together, amazing work..
your voice is so soothing... exactly like if not better than meditation guides. Helps me fall asleep when my insomnia gets really bad too. love your videos and creations! keep up the good work!
Awesome, this totally opens up your wild west world. I can for see some epic clashes a brewing, or maybe that's just what my head is telling me. Lol. 👍
So happy new wild west episodes are back!
I love your Imaginary West series.
when i saw you start kit bashing/ custom building the train, i knew i was in for another great video. Favorite diorama molder on RUclips, great work
I'm a real big fan of this imaginary wild west and looking super forward to more train.
Fantastic rock design love the results you get with a hot knife. The train 🚂 if you ask 100 people 98 of them would say it was store bought amazing work!
a whole train set🤯 looks like a series is coming our way👍
This kitbash train is next next next level. Very impressive!
I was honestly expecting you to use any old 1800's locomotive from Tyco or Bachmann and make modifications to those so they fit in with your world
I'm pleasantly surprised to see you make one from scratch.
Oooh that teaser… are we getting a Wild Imaginary West? Now that would be awesome
Incredible job. I love all the detail with the rock face and colors of the train.
Always entertaining seeing one of your videos, I love this world you're building.
Love the Wild Wild West theme. The Train robbery can take on so many formats hey? One day I'd like to do one with the actual railroad tracks blown up or sabotaged to force the train to stop. Keep up the great work on this Wild West universe.

That steam engine is A M A Z I N G for being made of random parts!
I can imagine the train zooming around intricate tunnels through a canyon trying to get it's cargo delivered, so sick.
Man, even if your videos weren't really relaxing to watch (they are) I just love your dry sense of humor.
Can’t wait for the west to grow!! Only video I can’t watch is the mine one because I’m scared of spiders... but the others have been great:)
I love love love when you post videos of your Wild Imaginary West.
Great work on this one. Really like your wild west universe. Really like the train with those colours.
Love it! That scratch built engine looks fantastic! I really like your Wild West series. Especially since they have a sci-fi theme to them. Thanks for sharing, have a great day! Model on!
Really love your Wild West videos!
This is awesome. I also love how the robbers are inadvertently pointing their rifles at each other. Botched job waiting to happen.
I like the darkening you did of the tunnel too!
Yes! I was wondering when you'd add a train to the series... classic Western!
Man ... your creativity is literally mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤👍
very cool train
Good ideas for that Steam loc… i‘ve better Seen that before starting my project👍🏼 Great work
I’m obsessed with this monster hunter steampunk Wild West setting, it would honestly work perfectly for a video game
