Lovely walk through some stunning countryside! Well done!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Carrie...thanks for the mention, it was a nice surprise...Rogans seat was one of our fave walks when we were working our way through the Dales 30 mountains
Hi Steven, thanks for inspiring me to take up the challenge! I loved the path up to Rogan's seat but the rest of it was a boggy disaster! It's all part of the fun. I'm looking forward to doing the next one- I think I'm ticking off the Northern Dales first as they are closer to me.
Love the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely video, fantastic views. Good luck with the challenge
Thank you, I'm looking forward to exploring the dales more.
Amazing views, excellent video, new friend here.
Thanks and welcome!
@@carriehikes my pleasure
Hi Carrie, love the views from crackpot hall, and the views later on towards Keld, good luck with the challenge and next time better luck with the pub cheers nigel
Hi Nigel. Yeah, that view across crackpot is gold- wish I had one of those big fancy cameras to get a better shot but just got my phone! I was disappointed about the pub but most of these I'll be driving to now, the bus only takes you so far down the dale so probably be on the shandies instead!
New subscriber.. awesome video . thanks for sharing.
Thank you and welcome!
I walk in Yorkshire Dales mostly and now planning my Dales 30 , thank you for the video, I will stick to the landrover track 👍
Good choice! And good luck with your Dales 30.
Hey good tour round there. I love the area. Dammed shame the pub was shut. Cheers. Warren😊
It was a shame the pub was shut. I met some other people in the tearoom who had been caught out by the pub being closed, so it wasn't just me gasping for a pint! I don't go to Keld often so had no idea it closed for winter- not something you expect when you live in a town and you're used to everything being open all year round.
Nice vid Carrie 👌. I love it round Keld. As for the D30....I did my first in 1988 (Fountains Fell) and I've one left, Darnbrook Fell. I'll deffo do it this year. 🤞
It's a gorgeous area. I'm looking forward to doing more of the Dales 30, not sure I'll get them all done this year but I'll give it a go. Good luck on ticking off Darnbrook Fell!
The round thing in the ground looks like a trig point Carrie
Yes, I did consider that. A strange place to have it though :) I guess there is a very good reason for it to be there!
the Cairn was just off the track you were on sadly if you didn’t bag it, it’s about 25 ft from where you were so close
Yeah, I know! I just couldn't see a thing as the mist was so thick. Never mind 😆
@@carriehikes Next time, the approach from Tan Hill is tough going but great in good weather, and finish there with a bite to eat.. best of luck with your D30 bagging.
@@outdoortastic Thanks, I'll have a look at the route☺
