Ahhhhh, to have peaceful, rustic 🍂 Autumn cabin, like this, perhaps in the Appalachia mountains and hills of eastern Kentucky. I would spend all of October, November, December and January, there. This would be a great place to be at 🎃 Halloween, Thanksgiving, 🎄 Christmas and New Year's. This would be my official residence throughout the Fall and Winter months. I'd love to kick back on that porch, drink some cold, frothy 🍎 apple cider and, quietly, strum that guitar.
Growing up in a swampy area in Louisiana, in a time where you slept with the windows open this makes memories come to mind. No werewolf howls but plenty of coyotes sang at night. Love this.
I love pumpkin soup, and pumpkin and apple pie. I also love pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins. I love pumpkin spice lattes, and apple cider. I love the idea of decorating the house with fall wreaths, pumpkins, Haybales, and corn stawks. I love fall activities like hayrides, apple picking, pumpkin carving, hiking, horseback riding, and I love the idea of corn mazes. I prefer harvest festivals over Halloween, but I do love Halloween music and candy. I love Thanksgiving turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, green bean and sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce and sparkling apple cider. I think those are all the things that I love about the season of autumn.

Yeah! Halloween's colors are orange, black/violet! ^_^ And since black colored lights wouldn't look as good, violet colored lights look better! Orange is for pumpkins and Jack-o'-lanterns, black is for black cats and the night, and violet is for magic! :D

My wife and I have rented this place for a few weeks. We are sitting outside but have popcorn popping on the wood burning stove. The smell of the wood burning is irresistible. In our bedroom we have opened the windows to hear the crickets and let the cool air inside. Mucho snuggling is on the menu. All the best to everyone.

I noticed in some parts of Georgia last year in 2021 that Fall seemed to have by-passed us a lot!! A lot of trees didn't turn their magnificent colors and the weather was nothing like the way it used to be cool and crisp and windy. We only get a couple or three weeks of winter if we're lucky and maybe a little peek at Fall. The Times They are a' Changing!!! I truly miss them. 😕

my favorite season is almost here!! i love the break from college in summer but can’t stand the weather unless it’s a summer storm or I’m in the water. autumn really puts me at peace of mind when I need it. Walking on the leaf-covered paths on campus with an apple cider is like meditation. Fall activities are so fun too when I get to be with my family . Hay rides, carving pumpkins, corn mazes, baking, Halloween things. I would say the same about Christmas activities but the gift-buying part is very stressful. Of course that’s not important, but everyone is worried about money at that time of year. I wish we could get rid of the gift part altogether, then it’d truly be the happiest time of the year. any gift at all should be one that’s handmade.

I’m in complete agreement. I love fall activities and I don’t think that Saint Nicholas intended for giftgiving to be so commercialized. Regardless of whether you believe in Jesus’s birth or not, I think that giftgiving should be about appreciating the gift that someone gave to you rather than the price of the gift. That’s why I think handmade gifts are better than purchase ones.

my favorite season is almost here!! i love the break from college in summer but can’t stand the weather unless it’s a summer storm or I’m in the water. autumn really puts me at peace of mind when I need it. Walking on the leaf-covered paths on campus with an apple cider is like meditation. Fall activities are so fun too when I get to be with my family . Hay rides, carving pumpkins, corn mazes, baking, Halloween things. I would say the same about Christmas activities but the gift-buying part is very stressful. Of course that’s not important, but everyone is worried about money at that time of year. I wish we could get rid of the gift part altogether, then it’d truly be the happiest time of the year. any gift at all should be one that’s handmade.

I’m in complete agreement. I love fall activities and I don’t think that Saint Nicholas intended for giftgiving to be so commercialized. Regardless of whether you believe in Jesus’s birth or not, I think that giftgiving should be about appreciating the gift that someone gave to you rather than the price of the gift. That’s why I think handmade gifts are better than purchase ones.
