Western Africa needs to deal with this bokoharam once and for all. This has been going on far too long
Islam gives birth to bokoharam.
@@GistTech no west gave birth to bokoharam if you don't know
@@Aminu-qc5ww Nope, the northern leaders who failed to train its people is responsible and not the west sir.
This will never change as long as Islam is alive in west Africa, doesn't help that the government are majority Islamic.
@@Aminu-qc5ww before the British even came to West Africa, the region had terrorism.
Sad reality of how porous security is in Nigeria.
And this is why jobs and careers are offered to women Men in Africa are generally weak and provide no safety or security. At least the women can move out with financial security.
@@williampearson6299 your comment makes absolutely no sense
Nigeria is just a tragedy
What is wrong with nigeria, in kenya we used to have this problems but if someone is a terrorist we deal with them like terrorists
The government is full of terrorist sympathizers most of the bandits are political thugs brought into the country to cause chaos during elections but the politicians didn’t meet their side of the agreement then the thugs went rouge
I wish our government could threat the terrorist and their supporters like how the Kenya’s did their I remember watching a documentary about how radical Imams that where preaching a message in line with al Sheebab were sent to the sky 😂
@@sharwama992 its not our job to forgive the terrorists we just send them to their maker to seek their forgiveness there
The president is a terrorist sympathizer so it's no surprise these things have become extraordinarily rampant and consistent
Lol Nigeria govt send terrorists abroad, they said they're now a changed person and repentant
BBC , this is the Nigeria you love
I feel for him that this happened to him. My condolences to all the families who lost their loved ones 😢💟
Woow this is very sad oh my goodness 🥺
This is sad😓
Wow I thank God for the safety of your life
The situation in Nigeria the North especially is heart breaking. What hope do the citizens have if even the roads to the CAPITAL is no longer in governments control?
This is how they share their informations
Religion of peace indeed
We hope the safety of the people will insured by government.
Why can’t marshals be included on trains. These days they can deploy drones instead of the expense of the airforce escorting every single train?
Do you expect an elderly military general stuck in the 80’s to understand modern use of technology??
There were “Marshall’s” but they were few less than 5 and were unarmed
A drone could only drop explosives or a warning, something which may be ineffective if the kidnappers have hostages or human shields, while a helicopter theoretically could have more precision, second it is very much about providing a visible deterrent- a drone may not even be spotted. Third the Nigerian government already has many helicopters handy in the region, while armed drones are at something of a premium. You are dead right about the marshals though- I guess the authority's must have been taken off guard by the sheer audacity of the attack.
Sad. Sad. Sad.
sad
They build this train line because the highway was too dangerous with many kidnappings. Nobody could imagine (except anyone with half a brain, which does not include the government of Nigeria obviously) that kidnapping passengers from a train is not only easier, but also much more profitable. Making a train stop is easy, just blow up the tracks. And since train tickets on this line are relatively expensive, the people you kidnap are on average also worth more.
Jesus wow bless you know nothing but the blood of Jesus saved you sir. Smh what is maddness

Nigeria 🤦🏾♂️
These people just destroy everything. Why are they so selfish and greedy?
Naija don become banana Republic under Buhari. It's such a shame that naija has become an entity of shame and this level of shame is just to much.
Because of this one attack?
But mass Shootings in America still hasn’t made it a banana republic right?

People in the comments talking about Islam this and Islam that. The amount of blood shed in the name of religion/gods/God worldwide would drown the whole planet.
Nigeria has to look abroad and foreign involvement in these militias.
Certainly these are created organisations for a purpose. Deal with the external issues by even paying them what they want to save your people and nation.
On the contrary, Nigeria has to look inwards. There are alledged sponsors and sympathisers of Boko Haram currently sitting as high ranking officials within the Federal Executive Council. A number of government officials are said to profiteer from the actions of the terrorist as well. The Nigerian government has deliberately refused to seek assistance from nations who are capable of helping to quash the deadly group once and for all. Of course there are tradeoffs with seeking such assistance but what does a country like Nigeria stand to lose when terrorism and insecurity has crippled virtually every sector of her economy?
giving away your sovereignty to the west is the worst thing any country can do.
Poverty is the cause
Religious extremism you mean
How?
How? You think war is cheaper than peace?
And The swap was successful 😀
Prison swap completed by allowing them break into Nigeria's most secure prison and release their members. To top it govt govt has now paid a huge ransom to make them hold off till after the elections.

Some people say that govt officials are taking money from kidnapping gangs!
Our President won't do that @kim
The attackers and the president are from thisame tribe he doesn't want to go down harsh on the people from is tribe we finally manage to get rid of boko haram but then bandits want to start making money in the North and the president is unwilling to clamp down on them because they are from thisame tribe luckily the South doesn't have this problem and 2023 elections is coming and hopefully Peter obi get elected and fix all this problem.
They will shout Islamophobia.
