My father used to do pearl inlay on guitar necks, banjo necks, and such. He followed alot of the process shown here. As a little girl, I would watch him all day drawing the little designs on paper, glueing them on the pearl, cutting them out....I was entranced watching his big hands do such delicate work. Hats off to all of the crafts people of the world.

I had the chance to see these craftsmen doing that sort of inlay work in India, around Agra and Jaipur. It is extraordinary the skills of these craftsmen. Their work is exquisite and so elegant. They are real artists. 👏👏👏👏

Your level of patience and the details are... (how to say amazing but in infinite levels) I don't know, it's a beautiful skill.. Next time you should do a video about that interesting vice you used to hold the bone blanks in place as you planed them. There is not enough info about the odd specialised vices and clamps asian craftsmen use.
