    I’ve never met him, but he is a great representative of this generation of Zimbabweans.

      I remember at my grandparents’ when they would slaughter goat, cow, sheep
      And grandma had pigeons - beautiful ones

    I am so impressed with how you guys have educated yourselves about Africa .I am saying this as a compliment because i never saw this coming when i arrived in the US 22 years ago .At the time i saw us drifting further apart as cousins . African Americans that i met did not seem to show any interest in the continent except making fun of it .I am truly amazed with what 2 decades since then have done to change things ,thanks to social media revolution .I can't wait to see your content when you get to the mother land.

      I'll put you up for free and show you my small little town just 40kms outside Harare and then go to our family farm in Trelawney
      My moms is from Ntabazinduna and is ndebele and there is big Zimbabwe Xhosa community there and I'll happily take you there too. It's 400kms away but great fun drive as we will be drinking all the way. Don't worry police don't arrest for drink driving in Zim. Never. Ever 😂🤣

    I'm Zulu and my father's family used to cook blood everytime an animal was slaughtered. You wouldn't know it if it was on your plate 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

      ⁠​⁠@@mhlave2440Yeah They said it on video it consist of several tribes. He’s Ndebele and wife is Tonga but they spoke in Ndebele and danced to Ndebele songs. If you know of Mzilikazi’s history you know the Ndebele tribe already involves a lot of tribes from South Africa to Zimbabwe.

      Ndebele, Swazi, Zulu language are the same - just slight differences- I speak Ndebele,, but when Zulu are speaking I understand when Swazi are speaking I understand

    They cook the blood with other parts of the goat. We do the same thing in my country, and we're way up north. I don't like it, but my mom loves it. I love kidneys and stomach soup with hot peppers.

    Blood is very delicious food. We eat it cooked or fried, though our Maasai cousins still take it raw as an energy drink. Love from Kenya.

    in Ethiopia there is a tribe that eat blood like that but they dont have religion and they are few in number they leave in remot area.blood is forbidden in Bible

    5:15 yeah…I’ll be honest here, most of us Zimbabweans have become very urbanized. We would struggle with this dish as well.
    But there are other traditional dishes we cling to like Tripe, Okra, Mopani worm, trotters etc

    This was such a beautiful video. Everything they did and eat happens in my tribe. My grandfather also used to cook blood with meat and when you eat it, it tasted like meat itself. You wouldn't know that you were eating blood.

      @@neomontja71 Interesting. I drove through Limpopo to Joburg a few times and then once to Swaziland via Lebowakagomo etc and I'm amazed how Limpopo looks similar to Zim and even languages aren't far apart😎👍
