I am seriously rooting for her on both vault and floor. I think the fact that she was a level ten makes her more humble. She just seems like a great human.
Well, but its not for certain that she will stick until tokyo, she would be like 23 then so who knows if she will get there , he probably means in this new generation of gymnasts
rivermania10 Vault, yes. But they have AA gymnasts who excel on floor in both the Sr and Jr ranks (Ragan Smith, Emma Malabuyo, Maile O'Keefe, to name a few)
gowreesh nath ok well she still finished with the highest score on fx both nights at the p&gs and took home the bronze at the world championships so 🤷♀️
@@soratasorata7075 her dancing is better than most and with her tumbling, its stunning.... seems shes now shown all of you..... so sick of lemmings parroting each other.....

I would really like to stop hearing athletes who win national, world and Olympic medals get asked about not doing even better -_- Her answer was fine, saying that she felt like she did really well for her first World Championships, but come on- two silver medals is incredible for a seasoned veteran, especially in a year with no team competition (Right? No team in 2017?). She competed three events IIRC, made finals in two and took silver medals in both.
Dalalas 6 I think Jade was quite articulate and composed here. Plus, I only heard her say "like" a couple of times, which is a monumental feat for the average American teenager. They're 16-17 year old kids still getting used to giving interviews, not professional public speakers.
I think they should of protested her score even the japanese girl said she thought she lost after seeing Jade flawless performance. She is new to it but she just went with the silver. I got to admit next year it may be a bit tuff if she is going against Simone.
Simone is going to be pushed for the first time in a long time on floor if Jade ends up doing her rumored triple double and debuts the Moors she's been practicing. They were deliberately holding her back to make sure she could keep it together under pressure (Valeri said this in an interview). They just need to hire a choreographer. It's not acceptable at this level.
A.J. Garcia I'm sure Dominic Zito will come to the rescue with a new floor routine (much needed!). It's incredible that Jade was doing JO level 10 gymnastics a year ago and just turned elite this year.
Not with that choreo she wasn't. You can't protest execution either. I love Jade but Mai actually connected with her music whereas Jade didn't, it's most likely because of how fast Jade transitioned from level 10 to elite. Now that Worlds is done and over, I hope they find Jade a good choreographer and a routine that she can perform and sell because her tumbling is there but her dance really isn't.
She's a great speaker, she sounds so mature.
Jade just needs to work on her dance. Glad she is very honest about her goals. I think Jade would have a great NCAA career.
And now she's a gold medalist!
@@blankline5215 Two-time gold medalist now!
Olympic fucking champion

I really hope she tries for tokyo. USA does not have a vault/floor specialist. Not even in the rising juniors.
simone?

I'm so happy for her. Everyone says she needs to work in her dance but I think it looks fine.

@@annieking5099 Yes she did - thanks to her tumbling (or should I say, despite her dance). Still love Jade though.
I agree. So sick of Jade not getting the recognition she deserves..... even now, in 2021.

What's with the Americans always saying "fun" in interviews. I wonder if they're told to use fun if they don't know how to answer.
They say it because gymnastics IS fun. That's the whole point. Also, gymnasts are really not 'fun' to watch if they're not having fun.
mjamitche5 no you should watch ragans interview to know what I mean. She says fun every two seconds

Sr Azul You cannot submit an inquiry for E scores and her D score was correct.

The scores were fair. Mai deserved that medal. Jade's choreo incurs a lot of deductions, as it should.
