The reason north Weald isn’t like a London Underground station is because it was restored to its LNER or GER days I know one is LNER and the other station is GER unsure of which is which though
9:45 Wrong its a Class 45 18:45, the EOR won't ever be converted back to tube 19:59 Blake Hall isn't abandoned. it's a private house to the owner of the Railway
The reason the Epping/Ongar LU branch line was closed was due to lack the of passenger usage along the time, therefore making it financially inviable. It used to cost LU £7 for each passenger journey. If TFL wanted to re-instate the Tube branch line from Epping to Ongar, it would cost them many millions of pounds, and they can't afford it. The other issue is that the line is now privately owned. Also, the Epping Ongar Railway heritage line is boosting the local economy of Ongar and North Weald due too the number of people visiting the railway.

I believe the people of Ongar would like to have the Tube back in light of the increase in road traffic over the years.
