1 box Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
3 green onions finely chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
1 bag frozen peas
1-2 cooked and diced chicken breast
8 oz sour cream
1 cup shredded cheese
Topping
2 cups cheesy crackers crushed.
4 T butter

I love to watch couples in the kitchen working together my husband and I love to work together in the kitchen I was at my sisters for a graduation and my niece wanted homemade rolls so we borrowed the neighbors KitchenAid and made rules we had no place where it was warm but the cars with the Sun shining in them my sister said that me and my husband look like a machine gears working together and thinking about that makes me very happy ❤❤

Everything looked delicious. When my niece was little all she wanted today was the cool whip a!so. She would get a little and then clean out the rest after everyone else was done! Mama always kept some for her.

We always run ice cold water over elbow noodles (let drain)for our Tuna Mac salad. But you do have the frozen peas, cold milk, and sour cream. That's what I wanted to be when I was a teenager John, a Ninja! Had to beg parents to let me take Karate (Tae Kwon do).
I'm glad you are feeling better Renea & hope your body continues to heal. It's so easy to doctor up a box of mac & cheese, or most any box/package mix of anything. It's a great way to make a full meal out of something meant as more of a side dish. I used to do this as more of a necessity but realized pretty quickly the taste was the biggest benefit! Thank you Renea for sharing this idea with us all.

I’ve had shingles several times before I discovered a vitamin called Lecithin. It helps with the pain and the bumps. Since I’ve been tanking this I’ve only had shingles once. Altogether about Five times
There is a shingles vaccine you can get. I've only had them once when I was 17. That was enough for me as they were absolutely horrid!
Glad you are doing better! Shingles was the WORST thing that I ever had……mine was INTERNAL SHINGLES and took a spinal tap to diagnose! 💕
My mother had shingles last spring and she had such horrid nerve pain all down her left side, she had minimal rash just under her chest and on the left side, but the nerve pain almost done her in.....they gave her so much pain medications and none of them touched the pain....lasted over 8 weeks for her....and every once in a while she gets sore and the nerve on her side acts up still.....i'm going to go get the Shingles shot at 55, i already deal with sciatic nerve pain....nope not dealing with shingles nerve pain ugh.......and yay to Mister!! I sometimes yearn for a hubby like him! as much as i Love my hubby, i'm unfortunately one of those married single moms/wives.....he works (does nothing else), and i do everything else, plus i'm heading back to work in a couple of weeks.....but, with 4 adult children and 4 children aged 7 to 14.....i'm too old and too tired to start over again lol (i'll be 50 this yr).....but the younger kids are now old enough that they are doing great helping mom out! raised my sons to be mindful of their women and that they better not be like that (and they see how sometimes i have a hard time and i think they all understand)

Good morning Renae and Mr Wayna. It was so sweet to watch Mr Wayna help you out. I do not know if this will help you, but I hope it will and others also. I have had shingles twice, once when I was 16. Oh, they are terrible!!! I can only explain it like there were millions of needles being released inside of me, so I knew what you were talking about with the stinging. I'm so sorry you have them, they are hard to explain. Out of desperation I did find something that helped me the second time I had them. My husband would take a cotton ball and dip it in vinegar and dab on them, then he would do the same with calamine lotion. We would do this twice a day, morning and night. It truly helped so much.

My mom is just getting over shingles. She even got the shingles vaccine or whatever it and still got them. I have never seen my mom in tears from pain before. Never! At 79 she has always been one tough ole bird. Us kids finally talked her into letting my step dad take her back to the doctor. He gave her something stronger for the pain. I don't know if it worked on the pain because it knocked her out but at least she wasn't crying and hurting.

Shingles cause horrible pain. My husband got a bad case coming off of both sides of his spine. He has a very high pain tolerance but needed to take the pain pills the Dr gave him. I get cold sores, really bad under my nose down to my lip(makes me look like Hitler when they’re all scabbed up😂) that virus runs on the nerve too. I know how bad they hurt, shingles is much worse.
I got shingles on the palm of my hand and tha cruke of my arm. My Dr. said he had never seen anyone get them there.

Wow your milk is cheap. Our gallon of whole milk is 4.99 unless you get it at bjs which is 2.79 he needs to get the spatula to get all the whipped cream. Lol I love that fine china. I love to use it.
Home made whip cream is a real food. Cool Whip is a bunch of chemicals, so your homemade whip cream is a much healthier choice. We never eat cool whip!

Renea did you get the shingle shot ? My husband had shingles about 10 years ago and he said that was the worst ever he had ever felt. our daughter when she was 11 had shingles and 2 more times before she reached the age of 25 years.
