    You both are so positive and informative n full of energy. I would love to come to you both sometime in future, I am used to sitting 10-14hrs straight getting my braids in. Usually 150-175 with a 41” length. It takes 5 hrs of take down n another 6 to do comb out of my hair. I have extremely thick hair . I keep my braids for about 2 months before changing colors as well. I will have a good 2” growth easily. I know this is probably impossible as all heck but I have indigo now but would love white. Have wanted that for a long time so I could just do minimal touch up to my light brown n grey grow out. Then I could stop with 6set of braids a yr.

    really amazing install but that corner knot NO BUENO way to bulky and when she lays on her side of head shes gonna feel all that and its gonna hurt after a while. You should try the Bellami finishing knot its very similar but it lays completely flat like a triangle its amazing so there's no flap just lays flat.

    When you added the beads I thought you were going to do a i- loop extension or a u... instead of sewing thru the beads as an anchor. Typically I put in an anchor braid and then sew on to the braid..no beads. So my question is are the bees there for extra protection instead of an anchor braid?

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  2 года назад +1

      The anchor braid is simply a different technique. I would use the bead method for those who don't braid or want something quicker for install. They are just different.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I’m a new extension stylist and Donna Bella user. My favorite so far are the flat tips and hybrid wefts. Can I ask- why the I tips and not the flat tips? Wouldn’t the flat tip lay flatter? Also, I’ve had better luck with the silicone beads holding the hair as opposed to the flare beads. I love the flare beads but they just don’t seem to hold as well. Any advice?

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  2 года назад

      Hi! I personally love silicone for general use but the flare beads only for iLinks. I find that I need to do three clamp downs to ensure they are secured but you most definitely can use silicone for them as well. It’s more of a preference.
      As far as flat tips and iLinks, again it’s a preference of what the client/stylists like.
      Hope this helps

    If you run a straightener over the string it won’t ravel up

    • @MirellaManelli

      Its almost impossible to run a straightener over the string and not recommended to apply heat on the weft that high.

    • @tinietempa
      @tinietempa 2 года назад

      @@MirellaManelli not on the weft, when you loop the string on the needle, run the straightener over the string. It stops the string from ravelling and tangling as you’re sewing the weft through the beads

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  Год назад

      It's very much possible to get a bleach retouch and get hair extensions. You simply do the retouch when the hair is grown out. It applied correctly the bleach should not touch the bond.
