It’s a great looking, well-equipped, truck, but 60k is a little steep for my taste. For those who can afford the price, more power to them. It’s a sweet truck!
Everyone is having sticker shock about these top trim mid-size trucks, but Jeep has been selling Gladiators over $60k for a while.
The Bison package is an additional $11,000. However, you can get a regular ZR-2 with the 33" tires, instead of 35", and add the extra factory shock snubbers (called Jounce) yourself for about $2500 which also includes the extra 1/2" Bison lift blocks. The mounts are already in place so it is a bolt on job, except for a re-alignment when done..... Something to consider.
Screw that. I will keep my Silverado Trail Boss and trailer my Yamaha SxS out to the trails. Way cheaper.
If I could afford a $60K truck would I buy this top of the line midsized truck? No would not buy this truck because it is for heavy off roading but it can only tow 5K ibs but I would love to tow a 6K ibs loaded toy hauler so the Colorado Trail Boss is better suited for my needs ans wants
The new TRD Pro will probably be at least that much.
Good luck being able to buy the 2024 Tacoma trd pro foe under 72 to 73 grand price range. It is msrp price of around 65 grand before stealerships add on their absurdly high regional market adjustment fee.
The 2024 Tacoma trail hunters are around msrp price range of 63 to 64 grand on the east coast where I live.
Did you notice a significant difference between getting in/out of the Bison and the Canyon AT4X?
Yeah 1.5 inches higher and bigger tires on top of that, the bison is a bad ass truck compared to the at4x but I like them both
Price is high…..but all the new midsizes will be higher than most are willing to pay. The new Tacoma and Ranger won’t be any different
It was 10 grand less a year ago..that's a no from me
No way I’m paying that much for a mini truck
I personally couldn’t justify or reasonably afford anything over a mid-tier trim of any pickup, certainly not a niche model focused on a very specific aspect or lifestyle.
Same I am looking at the Colorado Trail Boss because it is the cheapest off road version and it's mid trim but at $45K specced the way I want it, it's aty upper limit on price. I can't afford more than that and even if I could I could not justify spending over that
@@RossMalagarie problem w the trail boss is the suspension is just basic you dont get any off road shocks or anything its a 2" budget lift they dont even get rough country shocks anymore
@@B86432 thanks for the info
No. The only vehicle I might consider spending $60K on would be a Lexus, certainly not any GM product.
absolutely , midsized only about 400lb lighter than Fullsize and you know how much they cost and if you go wheeling you know you want a smaller frame. Ive had full size before I knew any better and its to big for me , I want midsize cause thats where its at. Ill be paying close to 65k out the door on my at4x Im taking delivery this week , I'm not saying its right but before its all over there going to get more expensive after the UAW gets what they want.
I wouldn't spend 60k on anything that doesn't make me $ makes the last gen one even cooler tho
at the current pricing level by the Big 3 I will wait for the bankrupcy sale !
I always thought the ZR2 and Bison is a worthy option for all the other extreme factory off road rigs out there.
Short answer: No
Long nuisanced answer: No, are you crazy?
In a word? No. Not for a GM and definitely not a Chevy.
Nope
Bad ass looking truck. Maybe 50k at most
No….trucks are overpriced nowadays
no, I would not pay that for a mid size truck. At that price, it is in full size pricing.
I’m not spending 60K when GM can’t figure out by the batteries, keep going dead on the Colorado !!!!
This would be my choice, if I could afford it! Although I would swap out the 3:42 axles and run 4:88s with the 35 in tires.
NO WAY JOE.
Nice on everything but the price. That’s a 45k truck not 60
It’s a nice looking truck and all but 60k? No thanks. Auto makers are out of touch.
The answer is no
Hell no!!!
At least the Gladiator can fit a 35” spare underneath. That tire in the bed takes up valuable space.👎
Can I get one with the big tires and lift kit and you keep all the electronic stuff and turbo chargers?
60k for a mid size truck. You would have to be out of your mind to pay that kind of money.
The desert boss is $60-67k..the bison will be way more
At least you get frame paint for 60k dollars.
Can you tell me how much taller is the AT4 Canyon over the Z71 Colorado? I know the Canyon comes with the 2inch lift. I can't decide one over the other.
I believe it's only one inch over the z71, but it's wider.
UAW made....no thanks
On a Toyota, definitely yes
Unreal
NO.
It's a nice truck. I would pay $55k. After the UAW strike, that truck will be $65k.
I say the UAW wants too much, the top management gets too much, and the buyers will paid too much. Also, no temp-worker on the line should be under $20/hr. IMO!!!
If you can master your job in a few days you are NOT worth more than $20 an hour. If the job involved danger to life or limb, maybe. People think working for a large corporation equals huge payday.
@@meanstreak1170 Nicely said. I think they deserve more than McDonalds and Duncan worker. They are asked to insure quality and do a repetitive job, so $25 to $35/hr. Free medical, $40/hr, 5 weeks vacation, retirement..... CRAZY. They are very fortunate for what they are getting now. Enjoy it till it ends.
Hell No.
Nope
NO WAY!!!
Would rather have the Ranger Raptor
gonna be another 10k easily
I would not
You didn't tell us how much the truck cost.
its in the title bro
I wouldn’t have any problem spending $60000 for that truck, the problem I have is spending $60000 for the piss poor quality the truck will have
It's a nice truck but not nice enough to get me to make $800 per month payments for a decade and have to pay $20000 anually on repair costs.
When the Tacoma comes out, reality with their pricing is going to be one hell of a slap in the face with their sales.
Lol..wait until you realize their trail hunter package will be 60k too
Trd pro is 64k and doesn’t have the steel bumpers
This is a 45 thousand dollar truck.
Lol, the work truck is 35k!
@@tonydeniro284 and it’s a 28 thousand dollar truck at best lol
I would not buy any of the third generation Colorado’s I just think using a turbo charged 4 banger is a joke at least they could have offered naturally aspirated six cylinder, or at least a turbo, charged six cylinder as an option for more horsepower😑
I will take 430 torque all day / night no matter the engine configuration . Example back in the day my 1992 dodge 2500 diesel Cummins had 160hp / 400tor then it was crazy numbers . I just drove the ZR2 at the dealer the torque is real WOW . Should pick one up first quarter of these year when the prices/interest gets adjusted . Can't wait .
😂😂NOOOO.....$60K going towards CEO Mary Barra $30 million annual compensation. 🤬🤬 GOVT MOTORS PLASTIC TRUCK🤬🤬
Uaw takes 5% of sales only going to go up
😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!
@B86432 🤬🤬 Mary and other CEO yearly compensation goes up by millions EVEN when profits go down. Goes up when CEOs cut benefits and employees. European, Korea, and Japanese CEOs only make $3 million to $8 million. 🤬🤬. US auto CEOs even have millions more in fringe benefits and hundreds millions in GOLDEN PARACHUTE for doing a crappy job! CEOs still get their millions during govt bailout! PLUS, THEY PAY LESS TAXES ON THEIR COMPENSATION!
60K for climbing the curb at the home depot 😂
Can’t wait to see how it compares to the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro hybrid. The new Tacoma Pro will be the king of midsize truck fuel mileage. The Bison will be lucky to get 17 mpg.
