It’s hard to tell with high tenors, but Woozi’s G♯5 sounds sort of mixed to me. DK’s definitely has that lightness that indicates that it’s falsetto or head voice despite being so piercing, but Woozi’s sounds more connected (in terms of cord closure, not support of course).
Great video though, as always!
YESS THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
please do more seventeen vocal showcase! 🤍
Why is Seungkwan this much air only at F3 lmao 😭
Might be intentional, a breathy approach does help convey the emotion of Yawn, and also the sound of an actual yawn
def intentional since Yawn is a very emotional song
i was wondering what woozi and dk’s notes were in diamond days thanks
what is seungkwan's supported range? the airiness of his F3s are.. confusing
@mcnuggetsfamousbowlmojos323Eb3-A4(Bb4)
@mcnuggetsfamousbowlmojos323 E3/F3
It may very well be intentional to produce air on those notes
Eb3/E3 ~ G#4/A4, his lows are meh
bestie if you don't mind, which note did jay from enhypen hit in the high note of Blossom "Always with you, yeah"?
The ‘you’ is B4
@@sebastianpalko6664 ooh right, what about the "yeah"? it sounds kinda high
@@bangteezvocals the first ahh or the second Yeahh?
@@sebastianpalko6664 there are two right? it could be both the "yeah" together with the always with you line and in the chorus already
@@sebastianpalko6664 I mean I really wanna know this because I think it's the first time Jay did such a high note
1:47 thats joshua
what is their support range?
hii i think that the woozi G#5 is actually mix?
what song is the F#2 from?
Monster!
thank you!@@lil_cap
Why'd you start the belts so high? The average tenors passagio is around E4/F4.
I don't have time to make long videos :/ I'm trying to make short videos with the time I have because I really like these artists/groups
Lower register is ass but that’s expected from tenors and omggg let’s start scouting out Korean boys with unique voices why they all sound like bts/enhyphen ?? Jesus….. THIS VIDEO IS SO COOL YOU REALLY ARE INSPIRING
That one mc boy from Musik bank has a really nice voice too bad he’s an actor
Tbf seventeen have pretty diverse voices, and they don't sound all like bts or enhyphen, lol they debuted years before these latter, at most it's the other way around. Also rap line, who does sing at times, have low voices. Bts has also V who has a pretty unique voice what are you even talking about
@@simoneromano6147 yeah but thats like 3 out of 13 members and v is the only one in bts that has a distinguishable voice at first listen be frl these K-pop companies training the same old pale Asian boys as a copy and paste of each other, because most of them cant sing they’re just attractive and can dance and maybe do K-pop rap Most of them were taught how to sing rather than it being a natural talent
@@yerimissemm first of all considering how much you love and worship stayc, just know that's it's phenomenon that applies to girl groups too and your faves aren't safe from that either. Secondly let's actually analize seventeen's voices and singing styles per member: S.Coups (low voice with slightly aggressive approaches occasionally), Jeonghan (very high pitched voice with breathy technique for lower register), Joshua (used to sound very similar to Jeonghan, but has honestly strayed away from that style and has now a more distinct voice, mainly because of a better projection, but whatever), Jun (probably the most unique technique in svt and quite rare in kpop, not a fan of it, but I can't deny that is quite uncommon with all of those almost-out-of-breath vocals), Hoshi (another very recognizable voice, husky yet high), Wonwoo (low husky voice, breathy approach most of the times), Woozi (i don't like his voice nor his singing but a very nasal and high pitched tone that's impossible to get mistaken), The8 (a little similar to Jeonghan, albeit with more accent on consonants), Mingyu (deceiving voice as it sounds higher than what it is), DK (classic tenor with sweet and powerful voice), Seungkwan (a lot huskier than DK, with probably a lower tone, raspy and breathy likely intentional approaches), Vernon (full and deep voice), Dino (quite common voice, hasn't developed his own style yet, but has the potential to). Some members are bound to sound alike in some parts (they are 13, that's quite a big number) but unless the song is heavily autotuned, like for enhyphen or le sserafim or txt, their voices are quite distinctive and distinguishable both within the group and outside.
If your problem concerns the fact that most pop singer (kpop and not) are tenors then it's just because it's the voice that fits current pop sounds better
@@simoneromano6147 actually 4 out 6 member have unique voices unlike Kepler they sound just like lightsum and Ichillin
