I ended looking it up because I was also starting high school 8 years ago but recalled classmates playing with similar sand even back in elementary school, so I got really confused if i had just made up this memory lmao

No unfortunately not. The Ingredients that are in play doh melt the slime and turn it back into glue kinda like adding perfume into slime

If you try one part kinetic sand to one part slime, it's a very different result than what you have here... it looks like sand, but feels like slime!
