- my hq iv bin slowly building since i was 18, i put a 308 in it, it was a factory 202 with a m20 4 speed floor change, still running the 4 speed just v8 gear in it, statesman lsd,Heavey duty driveshaft, msd 6al msd dizzy and coil,flat tops e.t.c just running the 4into 1 headders in this clip tryna tune it for beach hop.
Love to see Holden or any of the major car manufactures re-release modern examples of these classic cars.
Sadly never gonna happen tho. Its a real shame they shut shop

I know your comment was from 4 years ago, but we in the US can import old Australian muscle cars--I believe 25 years old or older.

Please don’t import our old school stuff but. It’s getting harder and harder for we down here to own them. We don’t need any leaving here...lol

wheels are 18" ss cragers. most people that put these on their car usually only have the rim size about 13" and have quite a large tyre on them for that oldskool look but i like the big dish the ss offers
na didn't end up selling it, itl be at beach hop again with my number and for sale. mostly keen to hear what people would pay for it or what they think its worth. Iv recently replaced the edelbrock torker manifold with a custom sheet metal tunnel ram and two k&n velocity stacks so she now ills a few more revs and the new mad 6al keeps me from bending rods.still haven't had it on the dyne as since the tunnel ram has bin on if been disintegrating diff heads. The cragers are just 18x8 ss cragers.

hey, i brought the engine as a runner but was told by a previous owner that i was a good strong engine, i have no real idea about whats inside it other than flat top 30 thou over pistons and possible an after market crank. In this video its just open 4 into 1 headers. engine puts out about the 380-400 hp range, thats an estimate and engine tuner gave me. check out this video for better sound an more recent look of my car, search "my 72 HQ holden, 308,open headers, tunnel ram

I have just bought a 308 for my HQ prem and want it to sound just like this. Any cam, exhaust, muffler or engine specs would be much appreciated. Love you car!!!!

na 1 piece ss cragers. an cant remember the back spacing. its got superlow and compressed rear springs. its now lower than in this video.

yeh its a 308, all I know about it oversized pistons & crank isn't standard.

eliasm438 this is open headers that are 4 into 1 with 3" collector flange. For normal road use it's 2.5" inch with flow masters to the diff

usually if it's not on all 8 it's a problem with the dizzy or leads, just replace you leads,spark plugs and the carby will need a nice fine tune hope that does something
