  • This was all in good fun so be kind to the creators and actors I poked fun at if you choose to engage with them. I also want to make it crystal clear that I actually dont hate timmy tim (george orwell can croak), and enjoyed the film and book though I do get progressively more tired talking about it in the video.
Anyways, feel free to comment your thoughts bc theres some cool discourse occouring already and im EATING THAT UP TBH!!!
    Also free palestine 🇵🇸

Paul was trained from a very early age by some of the best swordsmen in the galaxy thats why he wins against jamis.
they do show the difference in skill in the movie, in the fight scene on the stairs the Atredies go through the Harkonens like a hot knife, but then Sardaukar turn up and do the same thing to the Atredies then Later you see how well Duncan does against Sardaukar . so its the best "plot armour" very rich parents can provide for the heir

I just find it funny that he beats Jamis first try as a fifteen year old skinny boy even though the freemen are known to be very skilled fighters (and he uses them to his advantage later in the book; and it is often commented on in the book how the atreides and harkonnens don’t even compare to the freemen fighting skills) despite being completely out of his element and weakened by spice and unused to reusing his own water supply

@@Merlinlolol Paul at this point can see POSSIBLE futures he sees his fight with Jamis is and how he loses knows what to do and not do.

Paul only has the one sister in the movie they shrink the amount of time paul is in the desert so unlike the movie Alia is two or three years old during the final battle. he did have a son with Chani though who is killed during a Harkonen attack

Paul also talks about another sister that the Harkonens kidnapped and killed her in a “pleasure house”
