- Tekken Tag 2 Special Win Pose Showcase Part 2, the way Tekken telling a story is quite unique, you can see each character interaction through win pose. These animations can be selected by holding any button after battle.

Regardless of this game not performing well commercially, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was practically a love letter to the series as a whole. Silly Arcade Battle endings and unbalanced gameplay aside, you really have to appreciate how the developers gave it one hundred and ten percent with the massive amount of attention they paid to detail, the abundance of offline single player content, the special interactions between certain characters, and the new addition of decals, which took the customization to another level.
While some of the endings were goofy, they did more for the story than any game in the series has, which is a shame because it's not canon.
@@SogenOkami Some of the endings are canon in Tag 2. Like Steve and Leo, because they used archive footage from their endings in Tag 2, and put them in Tekken 7, so yh Tag 2 although a game that's not entirely canon has some canon in it. Same with Tekken Blood Vengeance also being semi-canon.
From what I can remember there's no other team fg with special win animations

@@Rochon_ over 50 characters, deep combo system, thousands of character combinations, all characters get their own cinematic endings, and the cherry on top, if you pair certain characters up you get these win animations that has something to do with their lore. Bare minimum my ass, they went crazy with these

@@DigiCount there may be some hope. I mean, look at SF6. The difference is night and day from 5 as far as personality and little details. Maybe Bamco will take note. There's so much to draw from in Tekken history.

For me it is due to hating tag games I want simple 1 v 1s but the story and interactions are definitly top tier

@@lannzmiranda149 well it isn't canon but the fact that in Bruce's story mode where he faces Steve and the cutscene details that Steve recognizes Bruce shows that Bruce is and has been a legend in the combat sports realm. So I basically think there is mutual respect considering his fame.

Gonna have to disagree her dialouge in sc is a pretty insightful look into her character hell she can even be pretty funny at times look at her interaction with Lee on King's level it's hilarious
Nah both Alisa and Lars has had more personality in their 2 games then the other mishimas so far who seems to be only have 1 emotion per game. They even roped my boy Jin into that mess. Atleast Lee is still safe from that curse since he is adopted.

Tekken Tag 2 may not be the best Tekken in the series but its a fitting tribute to the series itself. The devs bend over backwards to add every subtle details from character interactions to stage designs and easter eggs to adding new life in character customization. Besides the unbalanced gameplay and silly endings, Tekken Tag 2 is a blast to play.

Tekken Tag 2 was one of the best things about the 2010's. Hell of a party it was 💯
The last "YOU WIN" vid introduced me to the Battle Cry OST, which I fell in love with (I hadn't recognized it since Tag2 was so long ago)
This one featured Your Sunset, which is probably my favorite OST in the entire game.
0:30 Asuka wants her revenge against the man that killed her mentor but has to hold it back.
I always feel like that this game is like a true finale for the Tekken franchise as a whole. All of the characters from the previous games are playable, DLC songs for older Tekken games, unique animations for specific tag partners, etc. It's just feels like Tag Tournament 2 was a legit love letter for the fans of the franchise. Shame that the online is no more, but I still have loads of fun playing Tekken Tag 2 offline on my PS3. Tekken 5 is my personal favourite Tekken game but Tag Tournament 2 comes in second on that list.
This game had so much soul and heart and plenty of customization options. Even the victory screens were something well thought. Hope we get the same amount of detail in a possible future title.

These creative victory outros is mainly the reason I keep coming back to this game. That and the unique team people put together.
I really hope Tekken follows the charge Street fighter 6 is leading and make personality and single player content the main selling point. I miss the good old days of Tag 2 and before where you were incentivised to play all the characters in the roster. Nowadays fighting games just have you pick your main and stick to it.

i haven't played tag 2 and i know the gameplay has issues, but those interactions man. you can't help but love it.
TTT2 is probably the one I've had the most fun with. You just know they put all their love into this game
