Feb 2024 update - Darnford Moors and Gallows Reach / Wharf

Unless the weather is extremely bad the LHCRT volunteers are out there on site advancing the restoration. But I am not, so this is my first look at what the volunteers have been doing since December 2023.

Fly tipping really is a scurge on society. How did it get to be this bad? Total lack of civic pride and respect.
On a positive note - amazing work, looking fantastic. I look forward to strolling along the cut once all opened and in water.

Great work from all the volunteers old and young working together as a solid team. So look forward to seeing this canal in full swing and hopefully in my lifetime. Would be great to cruise this canal when fully opened. Keep up the good work. 🤗👍
