I didn't actually have any peanut butter on hand, but I was able to improv with peanut powder, whole milk, and cashew butter; I also subbed the maple syrup for honey and they came out awesome! Very forgiving recipe.

I guess you can replace the ground almond with Oatmeal, but it would be a totally different dessert. Different texture and taste. And I think the amount is not the same. Start by adding few tablespoons until you get the desired consistency.
