- A complete detail on a Japanese imported BMW E38, 750il. It's really as simple as that, I take you through a bunch of the steps in order to bring some life back into this rare future classic. We go though the process of an engine bay detail, complete wash and decontamination, paint correction, and ceramic coating. The interior was also completed off camera.
This car came from Japan and for those not aware, they have a lot of acid rain that leads to some of the worst etching a car can experience. It had obviously been sanded quite aggressively in the past and we weren't able to aim for perfection. But that doesn't mean it didn't come out looking fresh. This BMW Individual colour is insane.

I used to wash an E38 like this ( V8 ) with a buddy of mine when we had a detail business as mere 17 year olds for fun. These were relatives rides and will never forget how this badboy felt back then ( 1994 ). Lovely work as always. 🙌🏻

*notices a spot on the car "wow what is that? oh, my screen is really dirty." I realized that the paint was flawless in that shot and the reflection from the paint in the video showed all the spots on my screen. Amazing turn-around on a beautiful car!

I'm a car guy but not typically into these DIY videos. That being said I will gladly give credit where credit is due - this was incredibly impressive! I have a 2018 Alpina B6 that I am constantly trying to keep clean. It's a never ending battle but I love the car and so I fight the good fight. This video was inspiring!

Great detailing tour. I love the passion. I think the E38 is the greatest BMW of all time. Although it doesn't compare in build quality to the mighty W140, R129 and W124 the design is simply gorgeous!

I've a silver 2002 E39 530i Sport touring that came from Japan and I've had the front end resprayed due to a huge amount of stone chips; but also the paint was very flat & dull 👌🏻

32:55 heheheee You don´t need to hold the key while starting, just click and the starter will engage and disengage automatically. All of the E38 7 series were equipped with that.
